Product description was true to form. Easy installation, I had a small area and it fit perfectly and heats the floor within a few minutes. Thermostat was surprisingly technical and allowed for daytime, vacation and other settings which allow you to control the heat. I put it over cement board and I mortared directly over it. It took a little longer to lay the tike as I needed to build up the mortar in the surrounding areas but overall the product works well. I did add an extra sensor just in case the current one goes for some reason. It's a cost of less than $7.00 so i would recommend buying it along withe the product. ... show more

Seems to work as advertised. The mesh scaffold makes the install so much easier. Can't imagine how hard it would be without it. Programmable thermostat is full featured so basically nothing to complain about. Trowel groves matched wire spacing so that's nice. One note of caution if you are not covering all of your floor with this make sure to use a trowel with deep groves. Maybe half inch. Else the tiles sag where there is no wire. ... show more

This worked out perfectly in my master bathroom. The company was very helpful; I emailed them a rough floor plan and I received a very detailed one back with a schematic to lay it all out along with product options and costs. They even suggested I use cork as an insulating sub floor over the concrete, which I did. We installed this radiant heat flooring in two of our bathrooms, one under marble, and the other under vinyl flooring. Provides wonderful warmth! And although we are so glad we installed this, no one is happier than my cat!

It is SO nice having a warm bathroom floor in the morning. We just had this installed under our new tile floor and it is working well. Our flooring guy had no issues installing it. We installed a 2nd temp probe as backup, I guess others do this? Our flooring guy had never seen it done but a 2nd probe was cheap.
