I’ve been using the VOUKAD Beard Trimmer for a few days now, and it’s become my new handy grooming tool. It’s quiet, gives a close, smooth shave, and the dial for adjusting the 40 length settings is precise—great for getting my beard and mustache just right. My body hair, also. The USB-C charging is fast and convenient, and the battery indicator is a nice touch to keep track of power. It reminds me of the various Norelco and Remington trimmers I've used for decades, but it feels modern and is more affordable, in many cases. The nose trimmer attachment isn’t great at all, but I use a separate nose trimmer, so that doesn’t bother me. I've alway preferred dedicated nose trimmers, anyway. Everything else—the U-shaped trimmer, the detailer, and the waterproof design—works well and makes grooming straightforward. It’s a solid, reliable product that feels well-made without costing too much. I give it my full recommendation with a strong 5 stars for meeting my grooming needs.

This trimmer works really well for beard and facial hair. It cuts evenly, is easy to handle, and the different precision settings make it simple to get the right length. I like that it’s waterproof, so cleaning is quick, and the USB-C charging is very convenient. The included pouch is a nice touch for storage or travel. Overall, a solid grooming tool at a good value.

Excellent Engineering - Best Trimmer I've Ever Used!

Wow, I'm amazed by the negative reviews. One of them cites it being made in China as a problem. But, while it may be made in China, it's a German engineered product, and the high quality of German engineering definitely shows through. People used to say the same things about Japanese products, but look at Japan now! The issue with China, comes down to who is commissioning the product's manufacturer. Yes, there are Chinese designed and made products, and some are terrible. But, others are outstanding. It just comes down to a company's philosophy. Some lean towards keeping manufacturing costs as low as possible, and this usually results in inferior products, either poorly designed, or made with low quality parts and materials, or both! When commissioned by a company in the USA, or any place else, it comes down to how that company wants to do business. If they submit a high quality design, and they commit to having it made with the best quality parts and materials, and are also very selective in choosing their Chinese manufacturer, the products will be as good as any other products made anywhere in the world. This trimmer has been German engineered, and the Germans are famous for precise engineering. This thing feels well made as soon as you pick it up. It's not super light, which is often the case when poor quality materials ae used. And, it functions with precision, as well. It cuts very easily, with no pulling. Blades are very sharp. As long as they're kept properly lubricated, they should last for years. I was previously using a Wahl trimmer (Made in USA!), and from day one, it didn't impress me! It never had the quality feel of the Voukad, and it never seemed as sharp. It pulled hairs, and I couldn't as precisely trim my mustache with it! Also, it's motor was weak. I often had to tap it on the sink to even get it to run! But, I simply love this Voukad unit. With that said, why did I only rate it 4 stars? It's because, like all electronics manufacturers these days, it's been made in a manner that attempts to prevent the user accessing and changing the battery - or making any other repairs! It's a sad revelation about manufacturers, that all 50 states have had to enact a, "Right to Repair", law! Can you imagine how it would be if your car came with the hood sealed to prevent you doing any repairs?! The batteries used these days do tend to last for years, but not always. And, even if they do last years, when they finally fail, the product is almost always still very serviceable - if you could change the battery. This item is no exception! And, from my past experience with sealed cases, this one may be nearly impossible to open, at least not with some cosmetic damage to the case (which I'll live with, before throwing it away!). But, I design and build electric guitar amplifiers, so I have more skills than the average person, and so far, I've never found an item that I couldn't get open for a battery change, no matter how hard they tried to prevent it. Other than that, based solely on engineering and functionality, I'd give it 5 stars!

Whisker puller

It works ok until it catches a whisker and pulls it. Hurts like hell. I was pateint for about four times of whisker pulling and this thing made a non stop flight to the trash can.

Worth The Buy

The beard and hair trimmer is definitely an upgrade from the previous model. I’ve only used it a couple of times but so far I am pleased with the product and works as described. It’s light weight and size makes it easy to handle and I am pleased with the battery life.

Greatest trimmer ever!

Great! Doesn’t get caught, or jam. It’s sharp and accurate, gives me clean lines. Feels strong, and lasts a long time. It also is very cost effective, with all the attachments it has.
