    • They work great and fit nice
I like how bright they are compared to the stock original with my lava lamp the bulb makes the lighting really look as flashy as the magma you would see on tv. I'll update on longevity but probably lasts longer because I won't be running a longevity test on any of the 4 bulbs.

    • Replacement bulb options.
I needed to replace bulbs in a couple older lava lamps. These had the Amazon choice tag, and at the price I figured I’d try them. Unlike the original globes that come with a lava lamp, these are mini projector bulbs. I was concerned it wouldn’t work as well as it doesn’t bounce light off the metal inside the base. Turns out, it works fine. The reflector shape isn’t silvered near the top so the light and heat can spread out a bit instead of creating light only in the middle of the glass. They are the same size as the globes, and put out a similar amount of light. ... show more

    • Didn’t get warm enough for lava lamp.
These didn’t get warm enough for our lava lamps to flow and we had to purchase 30watt bulbs to replace them. They did output adequate light. While I don’t think these should be advertised specifically for lava lamps, the issue was probably in my own reading of the lamp’s requirements.

    • Fits my lava lamp
I looked at multiple local stores and couldn’t find the correct bulbs. These bulbs fit perfectly. It’s hard to tell from the photo but these bulbs are the short/flat top bulb. I was hesistant when I purchased them that they would be the longer bulb with the rounded top like I could o ky find in local sores. Great bulb and cost effective ... show more
