- Documentation (5/5): Clearly written manual with everything you need to know to install it in an under-sink configuration. Product matched seller’s Amazon description exactly. - Functionality (5/5): Very easy to install; I used flex hose with threaded end fittings, and my own upgraded plumber’s tape on all connections (4-5 full wraps using any of the “blue” tapes generally is better than the stock white tape that comes with any appliance). I didn’t have a floor drain nearby so I ran the overflow tube into a short-walled bucket. I also love that I was able to install this unit on a standard 15A breaker—many water heaters of this type require much higher circuit breakers and supply-side wiring (which needs to be installed by a licensed electrician), so the fact that this unit does not require that is a major plus! I did have a small leak, initially, on the cold inlet fitting, but I tightened the hose connector another ½ turn and it’s been leak-proof since. Side note: it’s usually better to start by erring a little bit on the looser side of the connection nut—you can always do what I did and incrementally work your way to the required level of “tightening” (torque), but if you over-do it and strip the brass threads you now have a major problem. And, it’s always a good idea to put a drip pan under any water heater, in case of future leaks, hence the blue tray seen in my last couple photos. The heater has performed flawlessly, maintaining consistent temp, providing nearly-instant hot water on demand, and reheating when emptied very quickly (seems like less than 5 minutes to reheat the entire tank). I love it! - Quality (5/5): All plastic exterior, but solidly built, with good quality brass fittings and reliable performance after several weeks of regular use in a woodworking shop environment. - Value (4/5): Great value—not the absolute best, but excellent bang-for-the-buck. BOTTOM LINE (19/20): Excellent product. If you have a sink that takes a while to get the hot water flowing, this unit will eliminate that problem pretty easily. Buy it!!!

This was easy to install in our bathroom under the sink. Any handy man can install this in 20 to 30 minutes. I have it sitting in a plastic box just in case there's a leak. No leaks so far! So far, it hasn't tripped any breakers. However, it does take about 20 minutes to reach 140 degrees. And 2.5 gallons only lasts about a minute. But that's generally all we need. Power consumption is not too bad...it's been drawing about 10 KWh per week. However, it gets emptied only once or twice per day. If you use a lot of hot water, your power usage will be much higher.

This is the perfect little mini tank electric water heater. This works perfectly for under the sink in our new shed. I'm kind of using that as a greenhouse and it takes forever for that water to get heated up in that sink so I thought it would be nice to have this so we could get some immediate results. This came very well packed and secured and everything was exactly as described in the ad. Nothing was missing or damaged from delivery and it was all in great condition. This matches up exactly with the measurements on the ad so it fit perfectly under the sink where I plan for it. Everything was exactly as described to be and this is the perfect size. My husband is very familiar with hooking things up like this so he was easily able to get this all hooked up and ready to go. He said it was an easy and straightforward installation if you know what you were doing. Otherwise I'm sure you could hire a trusted professional to do it for you. Just be sure you look over everything ahead of time to be sure that it will work for you and your needs and as long as you do that you're good to go. Super well may and very heavy duty very durable and works perfectly! I cannot recommend enough we have not had a single issue and this has been a very simple and user friendly experience! Solid 10 out of 10 great quality product and worth every penny
