I really enjoyed reading this book. I think one of the most difficult things we can do as human beings is listen to the other person as they speak their point of view; which can become quite complicated sometimes when we have different opinions. This book really dives deep into really showing how to listen with empathy. The book has very good ideas. Most are practical communication techniques. It is wonderful for couples and if you have someone you can practice the techniques with regularly your communication will become much better. As for me I’m single most of my communication is at work. As a nurse I spend a lot of time listening. As for my personal life using the information takes a lot of thought. I really like this book. It had several great chapters among all the rest.
