Description

Financial fuel is the amount of money you spend less than you make. It's the most important number in your financial life. If you want to pay off debt, you need fuel. If you want to save for retirement, you need fuel. Thinking about buying a house? You’ll need fuel. In fact, every financial goal or dream you have needs fuel. So why don't you hear more about financial fuel? The reason is simple - no one makes money from fuel except you. Big corporate marketing budgets aren’t spent on helping you spend less than you make. Our economy doesn’t grow and businesses don’t profit by encouraging you to live within your means. Fuel is like air - required for life, but rarely discussed. This book teaches you how to track your fuel, get more fuel and 7 tanks you should fill with your fuel. It's 100 percent focused on the most fundamental, but most difficult, aspect of building wealth - spending less than you make. Read more

  • FUEL: The most important read to re-energize your personal finances
Deshpande's "Fuel" has earned five stars because within reading the first two chapters, I changed my spending habits. I've read multiple books on personal finance, have paid off credit cards and several student loans, so I'm not a novice to this work. However, Fuel re-energized me to make sure I've adequately filled all seven tanks in the "Seven Tank System," and make adjustments along the way. I've bought copies to give to friends and family, tracked the expense, and am prepared to eat beans and rice for a few days if the budget gets lean. I'll be referring to this guide until I hit Tank #7! ... show more

  • Practical...will have you thinking differently from chapter one!
Fuel is one of those books that will make a difference in your life in just the first few chapters. Although the book has budgeting and financial tips, the biggest benefit is the mindset and vocabulary that is gives you to build your financial future. It doesn't matter whether you've been managing your budget for a long time or are new to the game. This is a must read for anyone who is serious about getting and keeping their financial house in order and wants a very practical approach to do so. ... show more
