This book has great questions but doesn't have a lot of room to write both of your responses. I recommend getting a second book so you each have one and you both write your own answers in the book of your own opinions.

    • Best suited for couples following a “traditional” path
This is a very lovely book. Easy to read and fill out. The prompts are nice questions, but this is geared towards couples who are on the path of “date, have a traditional wedding, buy a house, plan a family, etc.”. If you’re in a couple that’s not going to get married or want to be childfree, there are huge chunks of this book you can’t use. But if you are on a mainstream, nuclear family plan, this would be a wonderful purchase. I thought it would be useful for my boyfriend and I, but if the contents had been more clearly or accurately described, I would’ve picked a different product. My husband of 33 years passed away 3 months ago. I wanted to write down my memories of him to share with my son, and for me later to read later on as my memories start to fade. I have enjoyed writing down some funny, sweet and romantic moments in our relationship. This would make a great gift for a newly married couple to chronicle their life together.     • Great book to remind yourself of all the ways you love your spouse.
I bought this for my mom. She told me don't wait until 45 years of marriage to get this book. It is really testing her brain power to remember all the things from when she and my dad first met. It brings back memories good as well as their trying times together. I can't wait to read what she has written. There are many stories she never thought to tell us. ... show more
