    • Modern Features That Make My Elantra Feel Brand New
I installed this Android 15 head unit in my 2015 Hyundai Elantra, and the difference is night and day. The 9-inch screen is super clear and responsive, and it feels like having a built-in tablet in the dash. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto connect quickly and reliably, which makes using maps, calls, and music so much more convenient compared to my old setup. The sound quality is excellent with the DSP and EQ options—it really woke up my factory speakers, and now everything from podcasts to bass-heavy music sounds crisp. GPS navigation is smooth, and the built-in WiFi lets me download apps and updates without hassle. The AHD backup camera included is a big plus—the picture is sharp, and the wide angle makes parking in tight spots much easier. Installation went smoothly, and it fit perfectly into the dash without looking aftermarket. Honestly, this upgrade makes my Elantra feel like a newer model with modern tech. The screen brightness was very low even at maximum, Bluetooth connection didn't work very well on my Pixel 9 Pro XL.

    • Good radio, bad camera
Radio installed and works perfectly fine. The reverse camera does not send video to the radio. I hooked all the wires up properly, as I put it in reverse the radio switches. It says “rear camera lost signal”

I wish they had labeled the leads, as some other makers do, but once installed, this is a wonderful upgrade. It is like having my iPad in the dashboard. This was really easy to install, the quality is excellent. It definitely improved the sound quality from my existing speakers. Connectivity is awesome. It took a little work, some wiring and patience but my car now has a backup camera, which it didn't used to. This Android 15 head unit drops into the Elantra without drama. The fit is clean, the 9 inch display is bright and readable in daylight, and touch response feels snappy. CarPlay and Android Auto paired quickly and stayed connected on the next drive. The interface is simple to learn and there are lots of apps to choose from for maps, music, and podcasts. Call quality is solid with the included microphone, which makes hands free use practical. Install took patience but not specialty gear. A trim tool set and a careful harness connection were enough. If you plan to use the AHD backup camera, route the wire cleanly and grab reverse power so the view triggers when you shift.
