I needed to replace my old wired security camera system. I shopped and shopped everything I could look at. price and quality. Then I saw this baby and I saved it for my top 5. I kept coming back to it. Great reviews and the price was excellent. Then I saw you could connect PTZ cameras to it also. So I ordered it. Wow! It was easy to install. Pretty much plug and play. Download the app and follow the prompts. The picture is awesome. So clear. The infrared put my old system to shame. The cameras have zoom on it and you can set them up for alerts to your phone, human motion detection. Plain motion detection. You can even set them to go full screen on the monitor when motion detected. Really cool. I highly recommend them. You do have to centralize the NVR for better reception. Update on this review. I had a problem with channel one on the NVR. Could not get the camera to stay connected. I contacted support. We tried everything but to no avail that evening. They replaced the whole system. All new. It arrived in about 4 days. I set it up and all cameras and channels worked perfect. I returned the old unit. I love that kind of support. Stand by your product. Thanks Hiseeu and Amazon. Update: 12/7/21. I've had this system now for the better part of a year. I've since bought a 5th bullet camera and 5 PTZ(moving) cameras. The bullet no problem. But the PTZ cameras(3) that made up the 8 capacity were not keeping the time and date. I HDMI connected my system to a 46" Sharp HD TV which share with my PC monitor. Anyway the 3 PTZ cameras were not keeping correct time zone. I emailed support from the link on the Amazon purchase and presented my problem. We went through some troubleshooting procedures. They and I were getting weary as nothing seemed to fix the problem. They asked for me to try one last thing and it did not work they would send a new camera. Well it worked. I removed the camera from the NVR and did a search exceed I changed the protocol ad added with intelligence. I input the password. I then went to the app and open setting in each camera and set the date, time and zone. Awesome!! It worked. Now the actual camera PTZ on the app alone (not loaded on NVR) worked perfectly. I guess with the 2 intelligence (nvr and APP) were confusing the camera intel. But with support it was a bit frustrating but they were patient and walked me through it all. Now my system is keeping butt. I even contacted support to see if I could upgrade the hard drive to a bigger one and how much. They said yes and max was 4TB. I love it. The APP allows you all the cameras. So far I have the NVR 8 camera monitor and all 5 PTZ cameras can watch individually or group them anyway I want. I highly recommend these Hiseeu cameras and system. They stand by their products. I don't understand what the other 1 stars are talking about. I am very happy with the outcome of this purchase! These cameras and NVR system work really well day and night! The video is very crisp and clear and with a 3 TB hard drive I get almost 2 months worth of HD video recorded so I have peace of mind that nothing will be deleted of I need it a week or 2 later! I've actually used the cameras to find stuff I've lost by going back to the day I used it and replaying the video and watch where I put it! The system I bought worked so well that I recommended them to a friend, he was impressed and he bought the same system! The motion detection works really well and pushes alerts to your phone or email! I went ahead and bought 3 more cameras to my system and they were very easy to add (you literally just click the button to search for new cameras and click add! I've been running it over a year now and have had zero issues other than user error. For the money this system is worth every penny! It has worked very well for me and I trust it when I am gone from the house! Customer service has been really good and accommodating too! ... show more

Purchasing these (HISEEU) cameras was like taking a gamble. I'm a tech that install cameras/computers alot and have tried many systems from different companies. I was attracted to HISEEU by the ads of Night Vision and all of the other perks. However, after purchasing this system and installing it I was amazed by a number of things including, sharpness of images, ease of use and video quality. The color night vision is majical. Installing the four cameras that came with the kit was easy. Had no problem linking the cameras to the NVR. Image quality is good....if you just want a still image that updates every minute or so. I have twice today watched my wife go outside or someone approach the house never once actually seeing them on camera. My wife walked across the street to the mailbox. I saw the door open but I never saw her in the driveway, at the mailbox, or returning, though the cameras did pick up part of one leg as she reentered the house. I saw the mail truck in the street. The letter carrier delivered a package....didn't see him walk up to or away from the house. Not all cameras behave the same way. The camera I have in the backyard to watch the dogs seems to have a somewhat acceptable frame rate and lag....not good, but not useless. One camera frequently goes out, sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes for many minutes. As I sit here typing this it has yet to stay on for longer than one minute. The camera right next to it rarely goes out. I've yet to see the camera monitoring the front door go out. I've no idea how the near and sub zero temperatures we're experiencing my be affecting this, but I'm skeptical that it is significant given the fact only 2 of the 4 cameras seem to be significantly affected. I can't say that it's not due to signal transmission/reception but if it is then the transmission is very poor since none of the cameras are more than 40 feet from the NVR. The kit came without the proper power supply for the NVR....all 5 power supplies were 12V/1A. The manual calls for the NVR to use a 12V/2A supply. I called support to ask if I could use the 12/1A supply but it was late and support wasn't available. I was impressed when shortly after I got a text with an email address. I explained the problem in an email. In the meantime I found a 2A power supply I had on hand and used it to put the NVR into operation. The email address was apparently bogus as my message has come back repeatedly as undeliverable for several days. I've yet to give the sound quality a fair test so I won't comment on that. Menus seem relatively intuitive though I haven't played much with the menu functions other than to review recorded video. I was also sent a link to download the app for my Android. I had to jump through several hoops just to get the app on my phone....ended up downloading it on my desktop and emailing the app to my phone. Haven't yet managed to install it. Hangs up at login/registration every time. I haven't yet tried the link in the manual. I also haven't yet had the time to explore the system to see if I can improve performance. I like the image quality, the ease of set up, the relative ease of navigating the menus, and I'd love to give the system a higher rating, but as it is for me now, someone could literally walk up from the street, kick our door in, and never appear on camera, so it can't be counted on at any particular time to provide any actual security. According to the description the cameras are supposed to function down to -13F. The performance I described occurred with temps in the 5 to 10 F range. Update 4/24/23 I've had this system for almost 2 years now and once I learned what it's limits are it has performed well. The quoted range is highly optimistic. The signal does not penetrate walls very well....from a center rear room where the DVR is installed to the front of the garage approximately 30 feet away it is pretty much impossible to get a signal from the camera. I moved all the cameras to within 20 feet of the DVR with no solid walls in the signal path. All signal paths are now include windows and open doorways. The closest cams with the clearest paths have near 100% connectivity. One camera is out in the open on a fence and fully exposed to the elements....rain, snow, and sub-zero temperatures. It has a direct signal path from the fence through back yard and through a window to the DVR and the DVR rarely loses the signal. The image does freeze briefly on occasion as do some of the other cameras. The camera on the other side of the fence from that one is least reliably received of the seven cameras installed. The cameras are pretty robust. Dropped one on a wood floor inside the house and thought it was broken because the colors where out of whack, but after a couple hours color returned to normal. Dropped a camera that bounced off a trash can and hit a concrete floor. I thought that one would be toast, but it works just fine. I have had some problems with the DVR making noises that suggest the hard drive could be failing. So far, disconnecting the power for a few minutes has eliminated the noise, and it usually doesn't appear again for weeks or months. ... show more
