This works exactly as stated; it is a very straightforward solution for emergency power generation at home if you have a NACS-compatible port. I particularly like the presence of the status screen that makes readiness and power being supplied very obvious. Use is simple: Set your Tesla to camp mode (keeps your car on), set fans to low (minimize power usage), raise the charging percentage to 100% (ensures that the car opens the connection to the device and keeps it open). I'm returning it, but ONLY because an old, previously-non-functional whole-house generator was suddenly resurrected by a technician who actually knew what he was doing. Otherwise, I'd absolutely be keeping it. If you need a generator without the noise and maintenance, this is exactly what you want. I am only reviewing this at the 2-star level because of the 240 volt configuration. I did not evaluate the 120 volt performance of this discharger. Anyone who needs to use the 240 volt output of this V2L discharger should be fully aware that what is shipped is a 3-conductor (1 phase) 240 volt receptacle. I needed a 240 volt split phase receptacle, such as 14-20R or 14-30R, for connection to my transfer box input. After some 5 back and forth emails with customer service (always less than 24 hours response time) it was determined that the split-phase version of their product is only now available in China, and not the USA. I have since returned this to Amazon. Unfortunately, the item description on Amazon is not explicit about what type of receptacle is supplied, and there are no pictures showing it. This is why I contacted customer support before my purchase. They sent me a picture of the split phase V2L (but only available now in China). I went ahead and made the purchase and now am disappointed. See pictures attached. The one on the green table is what I wanted, but only available in China. The one on the yellow table is what was sent to me and what I cannot use. ... show more

Outputs 240v
This discharger is very well made and works great. It outputs 120v and 240v via an L14-30 twist lock. It’s an amazing product to have as a back up just in case of an emergency. I would recommend it to any with a Tesla.

Smart Product, Great Deployment

Works as described. Product was able to run a large shop vac at 1800w without any issues. EleJoy's support is excellent and easily reachable. But that's not to say I had any issues. I was just curious. Would love to try out other products!
