The 3D Ultra Foamer creates a lot of suds, even if with a cheaper small pressure washer. I have a 1.2 GPM compact electric pressure washer. I was nervous that it would not be enough to get good results with the 3D Ultra Foamer. 3D claims that it will work worth any pressure washer and that seems to be the case for me. The Foamer covered my vehicle in thick soap. Exceeded my expectations.

I have 3 of these canons and they work great. I finally tested the dilution and with a full canon of solution (1oz soap and 31 oz water in the canon). In my unscientific I dispensed approximately 8 gallons of water. So the dilution rate is somewhere near 1 to 1000 for 1 oz of product. So 4 ounces would be around 1:250. My pressure washer 3200 psi with 2.5 gpm per minute. I hope this helps someone.

For $50+ dollars this is by far the best foam sprayer on the market!!!! I’ve spent hundreds in other foam sprayers and this IS BY FAR THE BEST!!!! It lays the foam on SUPER thick and it’s adjustable. Just get it….period!

[ Note: This item was shipped to me at no cost, in exchange for a review, as part of the Amazon Vine program. I always do my best to be objective, but it would be dishonest not to mention that up front. ] tl;dr: This one is nice, and you get what you pay for. Cheaper ones may work ok, but it's always nicer to use nice tools, isn't it? Bonus: It works well with my small electric, too, but no promises on that. Treat yourself! I am not a professional detailer, but I am at a, let's say... "advanced hobbyist" level. I follow the dedicated detailers forums and I use recommended products (and change products as tech advances), because I am responsible for two cars that are parked outside... and in addition to the trees and birds and pollen that most are familiar with, I have at least one beekeeper nearby, and the bee poop is _relentless_. Long way of saying: I was my cars a lot, and neighbors' cars when they ask, and I have to take it pretty seriously given how dirty they get, and how quickly. Further, unlike some professional detailers, I'm not ~really~ worried about cost-per-wash, nor about sparing expenses generally. So, this is my third foam gun. I have two "what's a cheap option I can get on Amazon?" and now this one. The other two work, as many options will, but let me tell you why this one is better: The build quality of the components and the fit and finish are far superior. Far superior. The instructions, packaging, labeling, included teflon tape, etc, all show care and pride from the manufacturer. The design combines two necessary, but surprisingly not ubiquitous, features: A wide base and a wide mouth. The base, unlike poorly designed options, is wide enough to make it *very* stable sitting empty, and the wide mouth just makes life so much easier when adding your shampoos. The controls work, and work nicely... foam volume and spray pattern are easily adjusted. Twiddling the knobs on my other two guns really doesn't make much difference. This one just _works_. In addition to clear volume graduations (most, but not all foam guns have this), this one thoughtfully includes dilution ratios, too. A nice touch. Now let me add something valuable for the home washers -- this gun works nicely with my cheap, electric pressure washer. Your mileage may vary, of course, but my little [ neon green, available at a big box hardware store probably near your Home but not as far away as the nearest train Depot ] did a great job making a thick, clinging foam -- the kind you really want. The airy, light, looks-like-a-cloud foam is good for youtube videos, but if you want even soap distribution and contact, dwell time and dirt penetration, and your most effective _cleaning_, you want the thick, clingy, consistent 1" layer over the car. And this gun did it wonderfully. I tested it with both cheap wash-n-wax from my local warehouse club store / etc, as well as the *really*nice* Bilt Hamber specialist foam concentrate available on Amazon and elsewhere online. Both foamed nicely, but, wow, is that Bilt worth the hype when it comes to actual cleaning. If you're grabbing one of these, go ahead and grab that, too. (No affiliation, but, man, does it work nicely.) If I have a quibble (and you wouldn't believe an _entirely_ positive review, would you?), it's that the assembly instructions miss a step. This gun comes in pieces that need to be screwed together (they thoughtfully include teflon pipe tape, but you'll need a small adjustable wrench to be sure it's snug) -- the dispenser gun portion needs to be sealed to the screw-on top ~before~ you attach the pickup tube to the dispenser gun. Minor issue, but, hey, there's really not much to criticize, so I'm reaching here! It was a little "stuffed in a box a bit too small", too, but that didn't damage it at all. If you're really, really pinching pennies, other options will work. If you can cough up the extra few bucks, this one is really nice. It is so nice, in fact, that not only would I have been happy to pay for it... but also, honestly, I may buy two or three more, just so I can stop rinsing and flushing to change chemicals. I have several foam cannons. I have a couple cheaper options, an MTM foam cannon and now this one. I can say that this one is pretty close to the higher dollar MTM with it being better for the fact the fill opening is wider. The valve assembly is all metal, the controls work great and I love the wide mouth. My high dollar foamer has a narrow opening and sometimes I spill product trying to fill it. This foam cannon has a much wider opening and the wide base helps keep it stable when I need to set it down. It came with all parts necessary. The teflon tape it came with is really thin so you might put on twice the amount as you usually would. It's not bad tape, just thinner. I adjusted the width of the fan to my liking and the density of the foam (product). I use this one for APC to pre foam my cars when they're really dirty. It foamed perfectly fine with my cheapo electric pressure sprayer. When I hooked it up to my gas pressure washer it gave me shaving cream as I expected it would. When done, try to rinse out the valve assembly prior to putting it up. I do this will all of mine and it seems to keep them problem free. If on the fence, just get it. I've tried the cheap ones and they end up sitting on my shelf with me wondering if I should just toss them. I'm set with just this one and my other. A+++ I'll update the review should anything change.

I paid over 50 dollars thinking this would be a better foam cannon than the much cheaper ones on Amazon. This product has never worked good, poor foam and leaks from connection of green and black plastic cover.
