Great luggage. This is the best hardware you can get for this amount of money, for sure. I see a black one on here now for sale for $109. That’s crazy for what this is, with premium zippers and Hinomoto wheels. I have seen both the green and the blue colors in person now and they’re really nice. Ended up keeping the medium size in blue and the carryon in green. Still at the normal $150-190 this is a really excellent carryon bag, and it’s the one I went with, after way too much deliberation. I had the green carryon in Italy and in Canada so far, never needed gate checking. It feels like new after two weeks of hard travel, only minor scratches but that’s gonna be any bag. Seems very stout in general. Good handle too. I do wish the bag handle things could pop out or twist out in the event of me needing to hang a bag on the handle, instead of being fixed ridges. But that’s not really an issue, just an observation. This bag seemed to catch less eyes from the gate staff. My gf’s Beis carryon is slightly more American sized and she was gate checked frequently and I was not. This bag fit in the overhead bin of an Embraer E145 and an E175, small regional jets with Air Canada, no problem. That pleasantly surprised me. Aesthetically, the minimalist vibe makes it look a little smaller than it is, I think. I also love the AirTag pouch and the cable to plug my phone into the bag. I thought this might be a tad gimmicky, but it actually was really nice to be able to keep a small cord in my crossbody with my phone, and just plug into my roller as needed. I was cross shopping with bags like the Aer CarryOn Max and the Bellroy Transit Carryon. Only minor thing worth considering is this Travelers Choice bag has very slightly smaller diameter Hinomoto spinners than a bag like the Bellroy ($300 bag), but I was rolling around my gf’s Beis carryon that had the same slightly larger hinomoto spinners as those bags, and the difference with my bag was totally negligible. I was worried this would be stuck on objects and ridges in the pavement more often, but not my experience. It glides the same. Travelers Choice appears to have prioritized more luggage interior space instead of taller spinners and honestly I think it was a solid call. Considering that I also wanted an expander, in case I’m loading up the bag with gifts for others and checking it back home, I went with this one. Saved a lot of money relative to those other bags too, this goes on sale, sometimes for $150-160. Again, $109 for what this is, is a total steal. I might buy one just to have the extra. This is probably the best luggage you can buy for the money. It literally has everything that other major brands have. BUT MORE Hinomoto wheels, polycarbonate shell, anti puncture zipper which means it is also anti burst, amazing storage capacity without being bulky, expandable, TSA locks, smooth rolling, great handles, dust cover… I would have loved better compression system, and a shinier shell. But I will not knock any stars for that since that is a personal preference. If you love the look. Then this is the one for you. Cannot be beat. ... show more

I really like this luggage. It survived its first trip involving 3 airplanes and cruise ship baggage handling. I did purchase a fabric cover to help reduce scuffs and it worked. I like the way the zippered section is configured. The handle is good but feels a little wobbly. The wheels are buttery smooth and the lock is very helpful with not having to keep track of a tiny padlock. I'll be buying the carry on size when there's a good enough sale. I bought this for the wheels and they are great! A couple of cons. The handle is wider than all of my other suitcases, because of the divots to hold bags, and my other bag does not slide off very easily. I've had to stop placing my other bag over the handle because i cannot get it of quickly at security. The built in laundry bag takes up too much space inside the already small interior. ... show more

I love how much room I have with this piece of luggage. As a photographer traveling out of country for a week or more, I need room more for my gear than I do for my clothes! This fits my needs to a T. The gear is very heavy and cumbersome. I literally chose this bag for the Hinomoto wheels after researching the problems with spinner wheels and learned that the Hinomoto were the best. I needed those wheels because the weight from my gear is significant. Do not buy this luggage. I used it only once on an international trip, and it was damaged during my flight. I understand that airlines are not always gentle with baggage, but this is an expensive suitcase and should be able to withstand normal airline handling. The quality is very disappointing for the price. What made the experience even worse was the customer service. When I contacted them, they simply blamed the airline instead of standing behind the quality of their product. I expected much better durability and support from a premium luggage brand. Functionally inside it's a suitcase no different than anything else no extra storage zippers or anything special about it which is unfortunate because there's so much they could do inside a suitcases like a bright liner different pockets inside that could stretch to hold things. I like the whole bottom of the suitcase could be a stretchable parachute material where you could put in socks your undergarments maybe some shirts other stuff or not use it and it folds completely flat. Anyway it's got good quality material it's made high quality and it looks absolutely amazing!!! I don't care what you spend on a suitcase it'd be hard to make it look better than this! Absolutely LOVE these suitcases!!! The material on the inside is some of the softest and most luxurious fabric I’ve ever felt on a bag let alone a suitcase. I hope it holds up but for now? 10/10. Important note, the price has more than doubled since I bought it. Worth the sale price, is it worth full retail? That’s up to you and what is available at the time of your purchase. I loved it so much I bought two more. The purple is my favorite but the blue and green are also understated and they feel like “adult” colors. Blue and green could be Ravenclaw and Slytherin for an upcoming trip to Epic ;). I like the dust bag they come in for storage too but I will prob use them for other things instead of holding the suitcase. ... show more
