It took maybe 20 minutes to put together and is perfect as a bedroom lounge area chair. I can put a few things in the ottoman to cut down on clutter. Sometimes the ottoman is the perfect place for my feet, sometimes a project gets spread out there. And now my laptop/ipad often live there. The only reason I am not giving this a 5 is because the instructions to assemble it are vague, and a bit hard to read. That being said, I (a 65 year old female that does not build things often) put it together all by myself.
