The chair is exactly what I was hoping for. It’s not too big for my space and the color fit in perfect with my decor. I feel that it is very sturdy and could be comfortable for any body size. The separate ottoman is handy to use to store a small blanket or throw. I feel it’s good value for the money spent. The only thing I would caution to others that this type of chair sits lower to the ground which is 15 inches from floor to seat so that is the reason for 4 out of 5 stars. I was pretty worried at first. A spinny chair with some pillows hanging off of it? But, man. This is my favorite piece of furniture. Those pillows are perfectly positioned to support your elbows as you hold whatever your current activity is — phone, tablet, handheld, book? This thing is great. The pillows are firm and comfortable. The footrest is supper basic, but it fits this chair perfectly so you can really stretch. Anytime I have guests over, they choose this 100% of the time over any other seat in the living room, kitchen, or patio. We’ve nicknamed it the “turret” chair. Because it spins like a turret. Lame, I know. But, this chair is not lame at all. I would buy another if I could fit it. The only negative is washing is a little difficult. Toddlers love spinning this thing around and around like those things at the playground. And, their gross baby hands are going to make a mess of this thing. But, get plenty of Resolve and patience to clean it up. This thing is great. If you’re on the fence, just buy the thing. ... show more

The chair came in 2 boxes and they would not give me 2 prepaid return labels no matter how many times I called Amazon support. It is super comfortable, looks great, and the price is unbeatable. I searched high and low for a good oversized barrel chair and this was the cheapest I could find. It arrived to my house so fast, was relatively easy to put together, and looks great. My only issue is that it is shorter than a regular chair would be, which is honestly my fault for not looking that hard at the dimensions.
