Got this to protect my ice fishing tent from burning down/ melting. I must say it is made quite well and have had no problems. It isn’t too heavy and it holds my mini stove great heat transfer is great and I would suggest getting one if you plan on putting a mini stove anywhere.

I am sure the material will not burn when burning coal or wood drops on it. However, it is too thin to insulate the heat. If you use this on your deck, I can see the heat will burn the deck beneath this mat.
