Perfect replacement for the Solera motorized awning on a Grand Design Transcend 30rbs. Climb up and take the housing off to see what connector you have... Seems like there are 2 varieties on the market. There are several YouTube videos on how to replace it. Make sure you pull the awning fuse or cut power, and zip tie the awning in-place so it doesn't unravel when the old motor is removed. ... show more

Over all, all these motors are weak. But again, this replacement one was equal or somewhat greater than what I had and the price was very fair compared to the other motors for sale.

This was the perfect replacement. Simple install. The only part that I would deem remotely challenging was the electrical connection, but that was the fault of the existing wiring on my RV. There wasn’t much slack so the connection was hard to get to. The motor works great and is quiet and smooth.
