They were made a little bigger then the pen version but nothing that a little sandpaper couldn’t help sand sound on side so that the cage you place over the air filter can be snapped back on.

    • Slightly bigger (front to back) but works well
After struggling to put the filter cover on, I noticed that these filters are about 3-4mm wider that the OEM ones. I managed to (slightly) force the cover on with only 2 out of the 3 locks engaged. After tilling the garden, the cover remained on, so I am overall content with the product.

    • Very tight fit.
A dirty air filter will make the engine hard to start. Since this is not oem it required extra pressure to fit the carburetor. Once installed the engine started easily and runs stronger.

Exact fit replacing the Tecumseh 36905 OEM filter which is made in Mexico and costs $7.95 at the local lawn mower repair shop. I got 5 of these Podoy 36905 for about $10.00 from Amazon Prime and now my lawn mower runs strong again. The other filter was very dirty after a year or so outside and this last rain storm ruined it. Buy this in the 5 pack and you will have a new filter ready to go when your old one gets worn out/dirty!!! Dont know where the Podoy filters are made but they look and feel exactly the same as the one that I bought in the Tecumseh 36905 packaging. ... show more
