These are very nice in lots of ways. Handy charging in its own case and plenty of power, more so than my older rechargeables. Yes, a great replacement for older types. I did experience one bad cel after a charge or two the first few days, but simply ordered a new set and am returning the old. No problem there. I may consider the AAA/AA combo down the road. These are designed well and with good quality too

Works Well. The included charger is easy yo use. My only complaint is that it is difficult to see the very slightly imprinted “+” and “-“ symbols on the charger so that you can observe the polarity when inserting the batteries. I rectified this by adding these symbols with a permanent marker.

These have been a little hit or miss for me. The first set, I had to return because one of the batteries was defective according to the charger. The replacement set worked well enough that I purchased additional batteries. After one cycling, though,one of the batteries again was indicated to be not working properly by the charger. I’m not sure if the issue is that it is not holding the charge properly. In any event, these batteries work very well when they work. But, you may have to deal with a bad egg every so often.

Finally, a battery that are better thannon-rechargeable battery. This battery is actually 1.5 V I found that most of the rechargeables were 1.3 or 1.2 V. I have online door locks that discharged batteries to 0 about once a week I got these without even recharging them put them (they came with a full charge) in the locks and one after three weeks finally needed a battery replacement the other three that I have are still going strong. These are just excellent.

All batteries and charger still performing flawlessly. People who complain of faulty batteries are probably letting the batteries fully discharge in their device. I had the same problem with lithium batteries until I looked up the issue. Now I simply set a time frame... like every month on my driveway alert device... where I recharge on a schedule. If the batteries have a over discharge protection... they sometimes simply need to be left in the charger for a while... even though displaying an error, until the over discharge protection deactivates as the charger trickle current takes the voltage of the battery past that point of over discharge activation that disconnects the battery from the device to protect the battery.
