My friend had Amazon send it to my house as a present! It was a nice surprise. I am 5’9” 240 lbs. and this recliner actually is a perfect size! I had a ,"Big man" recliner that fell apart and was uncomfortable. This one has a firm seat ( yet comfy) the leg / foot rest is right at my ankles. The best part is the backrest has an attached pillow, that gives nice support to the head and neck! The arm tests are very thick and comfortable! It has 2 cup holders and 2 big side pockets and 2 small pockets in the front! The directions are very confusing until you realize they are not written left to right! Only the first and 3 rd lines are left to right at the end of first sentence ( with a pic) then you go down and back to the left then down again! Once you figure that out it’s fairly simple. I surprisingly like the zipper attached arms and foot rest also the Velcro backrest is nice you can adjust it slightly for a more custom fit! It seems to be sturdy and the fabric is vey soft ( almost a corduroy material) However the " Blue" is more steel grey/blue! If you don’t have a lot of money to spend and want a decent recliner I feel thid one is a good choice! ... show more

Nice recliner at an excellent price! Arrived quickly and was easy and quick to put together. Very comfortable with soft fabric. Fits well in a small place but is plenty big enough for comfort. I'll probably be buying a second one.

You get what you pay for with this chair. This is not a La-Z-Boy; this isn't high quality, it's just a chair. If you just need a chair to sit in that's not super expensive, this is it. It's easy to put together and it's fine to sit in. We like the cup holders... My cat loves it. For additional information that could help inform your decision: It isn't a rocker, it's a glider. This is an important detail because when you recline the chair, you cannot recline all the way. The chair cannot tilt up and down like a rocker, if that makes sense. It only glides back and forth. It has one mode; legs up or down. Again, it cannot recline in such a way that you can lay back in the chair. There isn't much lower back support so prepare to use a pillow. The arms aren't very comfortable because they are only zippered/velcro'd on, they are not one solid piece. In fact, every this held on by zippers and Velcro so... There's that. I still prefer our 25 year old La-Z-Boy we got second hand from family. It's a great chair. You can rock, adjust the level of recline and lay all the way back ... Sigh, I wish this chair was a La-Z-Boy... I'm not advertising for them, I just wish I could afford one. I don't know, I wouldn't buy this again but I'm not going to return it, that would be too much work... Just look around for used higher quality items and buy those instead. Or spend the money and get a La-Z-Boy where you can actually be comfortable and recline. ... show more

This swivel/rocking recliner is nice. It is comfortable, it 'fits' me (5'4") and I like the fabric. It does require a bit more assembly than other recliners I've purchased online, but it's all Velcro pieces so no screwdrivers or Allen wrenches or anything. The instructions are basic photos but once you figure out that the Velcro strips are covered with fabric that needs to be removed, it all goes together quickly. My only concern, and I'm sure it is not only with this manufacturer but with all manual recliners designed with this footrest release tab, is that the footrest is difficult to close. My previous manual recliners had a lever on the side of the chair that you pulled to release the footrest, then pushed to help close it. But with these release tabs there is no assistance, so it's all up to using the heels/legs to pull the footrest closed. I find it awkward as I have to scoot forward to get my legs positioned correctly, and though I can do it, it often takes several tries before I can get the footrest to latch closed. Just something to consider when buying this type of pull-tab recliner, especially if it will be used by younger children or older adults. ... show more

I am 71 yrs old and this chair is AWESOME!! Very soft, comfortable, and mainly was very easy to put together. The only thing atm is that its a bit stiff to recliner but believe its because its new. Awesome chair!!
