I have been working on redoing my masterbedroom for the last year. Slowly decluttering and really taking my time to decorate in a way that brings me joy. During the last year I realized I actually could not stand my bedside table labs. They were the wrong scale, the lampshades were the wrong shape and I was just making do with them because they were free. I have very large bedside tables that are very wide and tall but not as deep. This presented a problem with normal round shades. I also have beautiful gold framed mirrors over them and wanted to bring a bit more silver metals into the room, but did not want it to look cheap. I was prepared, after shopping around, to wait several months and save up to buy a nice pair similar to this that was nearly $300. I did not want to, but darn it, for once I was going to get exactly what I wanted and was willing to wait to do it. On a whim, I checked Amazon and they had a nearly identical pair for under $100! I assumed this was going to be a horrible mistake. I assumed this would be super cheap, the dimensions would be off (they are very tall, which I needed) or the shades would be a cheap looking hot mess. None of this happened! They were not shipped Prime, so I also assumed we would be getting them on "your ordered from China" time. Not at all. In just a few days both lamps arrived incredibly well packaged, not a thing broken or missing and are absolutely beautiful! The worked right out of the box, look three times the cost and the shade is a beautiful, classic looking fabric. They are not overly heavy, but they do not feel or look like plastic painted with metallic paint. They have a good hand to them and we are very happy! ... show more

I wanted to replace some old outdated lamps when we freshened up our living room but didn’t want to spend a lot of money as we “live” in our den and only use the living room when entertaining. These were EVERYTHING I was hoping to find…contemporary, brushed nickel and a low price point. I also LOVE the rectangular shade! The only “complaint” is that the shade on one of the sat a bit uneven. Tried bending a bit and it did help but still bugged me. My solution was to trade where I put them with the straight shade on the table that was most visible. Totally happy! Can’t beat them for the price! ... show more
