These were the best bang for the dollar - and do the trick for me to put a swag light over my foosball table. I would have liked to have gotten one with a decorative chain over the wire, but those were twice the money for only 1 light not two. I am not sure why the review prompts asked how the motion detection was, as these are not motion detector sockets, but they are good for a quick light without the need to add a socket to the area. ... show more

This product would be great but the gooseneck is to weak to stay in the curved shape you place it in. If the light bulb is heavy it will start to fall slowly. Only recommend as a extension; but not for directional usage.
