I’ve had this crate for almost 2 weeks now and it’s amazing! I’m in a fairly small space and need to crate my pup when I go to work during the day. It’s so nice to be able to fold it down when it’s not in use and taking up apart of the living room. It’s easy to roll away for storage but I just take the bed and blanket I put in the crate and put it on top of the crate when it’s folded. My pup doesn’t chew or try to get out of the crate so I can’t say much about its strength on that end but it holds up nice and the door is secure, I’m not worried about her escaping. 10/10!

I bought this for my new puppy to sleep in at night and to bring with us to trials and tournaments. He has gotten his paw caught in the wire one and also got his mouth stuck once bc he was being silly messing with the bars so I decided to try something “safer” and I really like this one so far. I love that it’s easy to collapse and pop back up, and that it’s easy to transport with the wheels and the light weight. Hauling the wire crates is not something I enjoy. I also love that this has a cozier, den- like feel and my puppy seems to really like it. The 28” size seems larger than the 30” wire crate he uses in the living room so it’s spacious feeling. I like the door on each side and that there’s no way for him to get caught anywhere. It will be easy to clean when the time comes too and I think it looks nicer than the wire crates. I’m definitely buying a the bigger one next!

This crate will NOT hold a determined dog inside it. I have a 44 pound PitShihHuahua and he did not appreciate solitary confinement. He broke out of the crate and then proceeded to channel his Jack Nicholson alter ego and attempt a "Here's Johnny" recreation from The Shining. I'm sure the crate would be perfect for a Care Bear.

As soon as the crate arrived, I could tell that I definitely misjudged the size in its folded state. The images on the listing, now that I look at them again, have a kind of optical illusion that made me think that the crate folded up much smaller than it does. The primary photo shows the folded crate in the same frame, on the same floor, as the full crate. This was totally my fault for not looking close enough to the comparative sizes but I thought I would mention it. It is clear now that the sides just fold in so that the top and bottom meet up to turn it into a sort of suitcase. That said, it does kind of bother me that there is no handle on the long side of the case/crate. There are two handles, but they are both located at opposite ends, which is great for a two handed carry of the crate when it is expanded to full-size, but not great for transportation while folded. Kind of annoying. I have to admit that I was slightly concerned when I saw the included screwdriver, because I thought that meant it needed to be assembled. That was completely not the case. As near as I can tell, the screwdriver is only included in order to open the access panel behind the pinch mechanism that I just mentioned (I included a picture), which is actually a nice touch. Once removed from the packaging, the crate easily unfolded into form. The two ends swung quickly and easily into place and latched immediately into the sides. I did not even need to retract the pins, using the pinch release mechanism, because they just popped into place on their own. The whole crate can be fully operational in less than a minute, once you know how it is done. Very cool. The overall construction and design of the crate seems relatively robust and durable. I do not think that I would trust this to take the abuse of baggage handling on an airline, but for normal day-to-day transportation of pets, I think it is quite adequate. One recommendation that I would make to the manufacturer is to make better use of the side latches, which hold the floor and ceiling together when in transport mode. These latches just hang free when the crate is fully assembled. They could just as easily make these latches more into handles to get a little more mileage out of them, but that is just my personal opinion and certainly not a deal-breaker. All things considered, I really like this crate and will get a lot of use out of it transporting our various animals.
