Nice touch bending the grate down so won't slide off when cooking yet easy to move around. Really appreciated extra nuts and bolts being provided (my biggestfrustration is being short a fastener in self assembly). It's bigger than I was expecting. Only tricky part was getting the last handle on. I used a 12 inch quick clamp to get the hole aligned and no problem. Would bet if assembled the handle ring first would be easier. Overall quality of product looks very good. No complaints at all.

Serves the purpose really well. I use it without the legs, so the fire doesnt spread. I have used the grill and did enjoy a proper BBQ on it. Definitley get some BBQ utensils for that to move grill, lid when hot.

The only way I can hear recommend this pit as if you don't intend to use the ring around it. Do you either need to do a good amount of redrilling replacing or just use it without that? I plan to use it without the ring. Never saw much use for that anyway. Other than that. The pit's nice, but they should not be selling this pit. With the rings is difficult as they are to use.There's no reason for that.

Not happy with the quality of this product. It's very flimsy and uneven looking, the railing is warped and moves even after I tighten everything up as much as possible. I cannot for the life of me find a way to contact the seller or even Amazon without just getting options for a return. I already threw out the packaging and the item is fully assembled, for literally half the price I should have just bought one locally that's just a couple inches smaller. I definitely do not see this lasting more than one season or several uses. For the money it's not a good buy.

When assembled, the firepit is really nice and sturdy and attractive. However, assembly was not possible until the holes for one leg were re-drilled a few inches over. The fourth leg was not aligned correctly. In its initial location, the outer ring would not line up with its attachment point on the leg. See photos. If not for having a handy husband with tools, the pit would have been a complete disappointment as it would have been basically unusable. It would have been unstable and would have had no way to carry it. It was already disappointing that the box said the firepit was black, while in the picture it looks bronze. In fact it is black but has touches of bronze paint and so does look good. I picked this particular firepit because of the legs and the geometric design and size and color. The legs are important, because our old firepit, being left outside over a few years, eventually fall out from rust. Notice that on other firepits the legs attach to the bottom. This is where the whole thing would then collapse if the legs were not on the outside like this particular firepit. That is also how they were on the old one. It still functioned fine as long as it was over sand and gravel. The legs look better on the outside, too. This is a wonderful firepit at a very good price and I would have given five stars if the drilling of new holes was not needed. Perhaps this one was an isolated mistake, but the manufacturer should take notice and buyers should be prepared for the possibility of a little extra assembly work.
