I tried getting this to upgrade my smaller one that I have. I love these fire places. They give off a nice wave of warmth. And the remote works for afar to change the colors, speed or heat. Very nice

Update: Replacement came broken worse than first. Don't know if it is a shipping problem or quality control issue. Either way, extremely dissatisfied. Unfortunately I had the same experience as others with the item was broken upon unboxing. Submitted for a replacement. We'll see how this one shows up.

The media could not be loaded. This is an attractive fire place. Could watch for a long time if nothing else was to see in a room. I have another kind of fire place that fits in a corner and is not like this one but still is electric. It has many different colors but what you see here is what I like most. The flames can be what color you pick and the crystals also can be a different color. It does provide heat and for some reason I am guessing the heat in the house does not let this place turn on but if I raise the temp then the heat does kick on. It's now been on for over 24hrs and keeps going on strong. It's thin and can be hung on the wall if you wanted to like I did. It has the option to be inside a wall but just remember when you do it stays because of the hole. Well about the fix part. When first turned on there was noises inside and has scraps sounds. Looking at the display I saw that the left side of the display the flames are barely getting above the crystals so down off the wall it comes. Removed the rear cover of the fireplace. Note that the screws appeared like they already came off and the philps screwdriver stripped out the center of the screws. Did succeeded in removing the screws and when the back was removed I found the rod that hold the tin for reflecting the led lights was not in the hole for rotation and was sitting at the bottom of the fireplace. I am not sure how it came out because it is atleast 3" longer than where it fits in the hole. The rod was bent enough to reinsert back in the hole and the rod did not keep the bend so it went back to straight. Reinstalled the back and re hung on the wall. Turned back on and wow does it look good and quiet too. I am happy with this fireplace and I think you will too. Just be ready to fix rhe rod if it's like this one when you get it. Maybe it won't but just in case. Good Luck with it and stay warm.
