I find the timer to be quite handy, especially for falling asleep with the fireplace on and not having to worry about turning it off manually. The 750/1500w power settings are effective, but I wish the heater could cover a larger area effectively. While the remote control is a convenient addition, I feel that its functionality could be improved. Sometimes, it's not as responsive as I'd like, and the range is limited.
