  • Best boot I’ve owned
I work outside in all weather types. My job can be climbing telephone poles, walking in snow/mud & summer heat. These boots feel great. My feet feel great even after a 10 hour shift. I was surprised they stay warm in winter & are breathable. I’ve used these boots about 4 months now with no issue. The boots weigh in a little more than my old boots and took a couple days to get use to it. I am 5’11 180 pounds and ordered the narrow fit with 11 1/2 size. There was a little more wiggle room in toe area so I added a extra insole to snug up the boot from heel to toe. Fits perfect. I didn’t have to put in any aggressive arch as the boots were perfect already. The extra insole I added from my old boot was thin & was just enough to to make the right adjustment. Only other thing I noticed is your a little bit taller due to the thick sole. Feet stay dry when it’s wet outside & never had a problem. If I ever have to order this boot again I might try size 11. Worth every penny! ... show more

  • Tough boots, very comfortable, DURABLE
This is an extremely well built boot. As with all the PRO anit-fatigue boots, these are very comfortable even after being on my feet, on concrete/gravel, for 12hrs a day. I've worn them everyday for almost 2yrs as a heavy equipment mechanic and they are still going strong. I did have to replace the insoles a few months ago with new PRO ones, but that's a wear part on any shoe. So far no splits or tears. The rubber toe cap is still securely attached, which something I was worried about separating when I first bought them. I do a lot of knealing and crawling under machines and these boots flex well and do not pinch and bind my feet. They are waterproof and slip resistant on oily concrete surfaces. On oily painted steel or slick diamond plate they can slip, but what shoe won't. They have metal eyelets which are a great upgrade over the last PRO boots I had which were plastic that would break off. They are a bit heavy, but not as heavy as a logger boot or other steel toes. I recommend these 10/10. ... show more

  • Most comfortable boots I have ever owned.
I have been wearing these boots for a solid few months now and can give a proper review. These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I used to wear RedWings only when I was a mine mechanic and I would wear out a $250+ pair in a year. I now travel very often so was looking for something lighter and with a composite toe so that I could wear them through airport security as even with TSA precheck you will have to remove steel toe boots. These absolutely fit the bill. There wasn't much of a break-in as far as I am used to with other boots where my feet hurt for a week or so until they are broken in. With these boots they feel like walking on pillows at first and is kind of weird, but comfortable. Once that goes away after a day or so they feel right at home. I have worn them for three months now on a daily basis and do not notice any excessive wear or threads coming out. They handled the snow just fine on a recent trip to Calgary, B.C. Most others in my position at work are surprised that I wear these through the airport as they wear tennis shoes and carry steel toe boots for jobsite visits, I recommend them every chance I get. ... show more

  • Awesome boots. I work 8 hours a day in ...
Awesome boots. I work 8 hours a day in crawlspaces followed by 4 hours in the evening teaching welding, standing on concrete at night. My first pair lasted 15 months. These lasted twice as long as red wing, carhartt, Wolverine, and keen. This is my second pair and worth every penny. Only replacing the first pair as the eyelid near the bottom were worn out cutting the laces every other day. ... show more

  • Quality has gone down, I am never buying another pair of Timberlands
I have ordered this style of boot from Timberland over and over again for many years but the last 2 pairs I've received the quality has gone way down. They used to be a comfortable boot with almost no break in required but the last 2 pairs are stiff and they have cut back on the padding causing blisters on my feet. I will never buy another boot from Timberland again, they have done nothing but reduce quality all while raising prices. I am in the trades and work 50-80 hours on my feet each week in all weather conditions and have been trying boots from other manufacturers, all of which are better quality and at lower price points. Sorry Timberland, never again! ... show more

  • I wanted to like them
Too bulky and square

  • Skinny Feet--
I found that my feet are a bit skinny for this boot but that is the way things are for me standing at 6'6" 190lbs. Everything fits a little funny. So, I added a cheap workforce comfort insert into the boot to take up some of the extra room and the boot fits great. Such an improvement over my last pair of work boots. These are beefy boots. The tread on these boots can take me anywhere and the built in toe cap is a plus. The boot comes with super comfortable inserts and will lace high or low depending on your preference but you will have good ankle coverage either way. I treated these boots with Sno-Seal in hopes of giving them a longer life span and adding some weather proofing just in case. I am very happy with these boots so far. ... show more
