  • Good watt output, durable and two carabiners to hang it!
Color: Grey 35W
The solar panel is 9 5/8 inches tall by 11 1/8 inches wide when hanging vertically. The entire panel laid out is 30 ½ inches long. The solar panel is great because it can power two devices simultaneously, like cell phones, speakers or tablets. It has a good advertised watt rating which means it puts out about 20 watts, which is decent considering I have not had full sun to test it (only very cloudy days). This means that it puts out even more watts on a sunny day. The panel is very durable material and construction. The water-resistant cover works well and truly does keep water from seeping in. When you try to pull one of the port covers out it has a strong hold because there is a lip inside that helps hold it in, so they do not come out easily. It is a little heavier than some of the other panels I have used but it is also two times more powerful. The panel folds easily but there is no kickstand. This makes it difficult because you can’t adjust the angle, but it still works well without the kick stand. It has a small carabiner on both ends so you can hang it on a tree or carry it on your backpack. It works ok on the backpack but it’s not great because it needs to be horizontal and you are carrying it vertically, but this is only if you are trying to use the panel while walking. If you are in a clear open field, you can attach it to a tree with rope, which works well so it can get exposure to full sun. Keep in mind this only works when in the sun and it powers your devices at the time it is in the sun. There is no battery or power storage for the panel. This is a great panel, and I would absolutely recommend! ... show more

  • If it was rated as a 25 watt panel it would be more favorable.
Color: Grey 35W
I have a lot of portable solar panels. I like the design of this one the size when its folded is just perfect to fit into a backpack. Its fairly lightweight. It has a semi premium feel to it. I like the dual usb ports both A & C type are nice. Im almost certain the 35 watt rating is false however. After my using it in sunny south Florida on a clear day at 1pm the best I got was 20 watts. After reading other reviews with the exact same results I pretty sure this is a 25 watt panel. Getting 19-20 watts on a 25 watt panel is exactly what you'd expect. For it's size and weight 25 watts seems a bit low so I'm not sure what happened there. That said if I was expecting this to be a 25 watt panel I would have rated it 5 stars. I still think it's a solid panel and will definitely be using it on the regular. There's always something that needs to be charged up. ... show more

  • * SUPER * Fast Charging with Solar Power?!
Color: Grey 35W
I am one of those people who is a bit... over prepared for the next apocylpse wherein I will somehow still need my phone, but every electrical outlet has vanished. As such, I've tried out most solar panel rechargeable thingamabobs you can get for under $100. This absolutely blew me away! I tested it in whatever passes for "direct" sun behind my house watching my kids at 5pm in Average City, Midwest. I plugged my phone in with a basic old Usb cord, and did a double take to see " fast charging" pop up on the screen. I was impressed, so I popped back inside to grab my fancy 45 w Usb-c to Usb- c cord (no adapter needed, as this has two ports, one Old style and one new ). You guessed it. it was now " Super fast charging" . This thing will easily charge up as many power banks as you can bring while hiking. (it comes with handy clips to attach to your backpack, tent, tree etc.) A very nice add to my" bug-out" bag. ... show more

  • 19w is all I can squeeze out of it
Color: Grey 35W
Cool design. Looks clean and it is a nice portable size. And, it does work... kind of. This panel is strictly is for USB C or USB A devices and I recently got a new Aferiy mini 100MaH USB battery that I thought this would be perfect for. Set it up today in 2:30PM California sunny weather, but no matter how I position the panel (flat, various angles, etc) the max I'm able to get is 19W and the battery is rated for 30W. I don't expect to get the maximum stated rating on any solar panel, but we're getting just barely more than 1/2 and don't seem to be able to do anything else to improve it. I should be able to get at least 25W out of it in this weather - 30W in ideal conditions, which is about what todays test was. It works, so that's nice. If I don't have any power at all, at least I can slowly charge up this battery, a tablet or a phone. But I do wish it had better overall performance. At 1/2 the functionality, it should be 1/2 the price. Really don't think it's the Aferit battery, but don't have much way to test on something else that could help verify if it's entirely the panels fault or not. So, I have to leave it with a middle of the road 3-star rating, since I'm only able to test and get middle of the road solar output. ... show more

  • Great for camping — compact, charges phones fast
Color: Grey 35W
I got this solar panel for camping and van trips, and it’s been working well for charging smaller devices like phones, power banks, and my Bluetooth speaker. It’s surprisingly compact when folded and super easy to carry around or clip to a backpack with the included carabiners. The USB and USB-C ports are convenient and support fast charging, which is awesome when the sun's out. Just make sure you read the instructions — it’s not meant to charge batteries directly, and it doesn’t have built-in protection circuits. As long as you’re using it with the right gear, it works great. The material feels durable, and it’s handled light rain and dust with no problem. If you're looking for a lightweight solar option for off-grid adventures, this one is solid — just know its limits. ... show more

  • Perfect for charging the essentials
Color: Grey 35W
Several years ago, we lost power for 4 days during Texas’ snowpocalypse… a thoroughly unpleasant experience. I have been accumulating things to make sure that we aren’t completely powerless again… lots of rechargeable lights, etc. So when I saw this portable solar panel, I immediately ordered it. While the rechargeable lights will keep us from sitting in the dark, this portable solar panel will ensure we remain connected & can get news updates. Our phones can be charged! This is especially important because we don’t have a land line at our house. Our “storm arsenal” has just dramatically improved! ... show more
