Excellent! Doesn’t come with instructions, so here’s what I did. Just snake it down drain until it hits something. Back it out a touch. Open the claw still inside pipe. Settle back down. Close claw. Pull up slowly. Took a few times to totally clear the yuck. Voila’! Well worth the price. So much cheaper than a plumber or buying drain products. Did both the shower and the bathroom sink drains. Happy, happy!

My husband and daughter clogged the toilet something serious. I was sick of having a plumber come out and honestly - this go round - embarrassed lol. This saved us our dignity lol and $80. It did take me about 25 minutes to unclog ( so I’m not sure if the 4 stars is a product review or user review ). But it worked - I just hoped it worked quicker hehe

My bathtub didn’t drain as fast as before and I already tried some liquids to dissolve whatever is clogging the drain. I used the drain snake as last resort. I started by removing the drain cover. I then retrieved my drain snake tool. With the tool in hand, I slowly inserted the flexible end into the drain. I can feel the tool navigating the bends and turns of the pipe, and then I hit resistance. This should be the clog. I gently twisted and turned the tool, allowing the flexible grabber claw to work its magic. The claw is designed to pick up hair and debris. I had no idea what it grabbed though. After a few moments of maneuvering, I carefully pulled the tool back out of the drain. As I expected, the end of the tool was covered in a wet clump of hair and unidentifiable debris. I disposed of the clog in the trash can but some junks got stuck on the claws. I had to put on some disposable gloves to remove any remnants. I then cleaned the tool thoroughly with my garden hose outside. I ran some water through the drain to test its flow. The water drained away quickly, leaving no residue behind. The drain snake tool had done its job. In my opinion, that drain snake with grabbing claws is a must-have for any household with long-haired individuals. It's a simple yet effective solution to a common problem, and it already saved me time, money, and frustration.
