It is temperature rated in the 50's range and with some layering I'm sure even lower! The Jacket itself is well made, and you can adjust the fit of the hood, with the draw strings so it will stay in place on those windy days as well as a draw string on the waste to keep the nice and snug. This jacket looks and fits great. The materials and construction appear to be of good quality. I gave it 4 stars based on first impressions. If it performs as advertised in wet and windy weather, it deserves 5 stars. We'll have to wait and see how durable it is over time. Update: I spent a half-hour outside in 45 degree weather during a steady rainfall today; the water repellent properties did the job. However, I did find myself wishing I'd worn another layer of clothing. Although this garment is correctly billed as a light-weight waterproof windbreaker, the ad showing the guy hiking on an apparently frigid mountaintop was not altogether realistic. The bottom line is if you dress appropriately for the weather conditions, this windbreaker should help you stay that way. I'll stick with a 4 star rating. ... show more

I've had this jacket for a little over a month now, and love it. My wife liked mine so much, I bought one similar to if for her and she loves it at well. The fleece lining is soft and comfortable, while keeping you the right amount of warm. The hood comes in handy in the rain, and the jack also keeps your warm & dry. The deep pockets are another benefit. Not only can you get items like your phone & keys in there, but you can get your hands in comfortably as well with all that in there. The zipper has a nice smooth action, and so far has been very durable. Being in Chicago, where weather can change in an instant, I truly love the versatility of this jacket. It not only keeps your warm but it also protects form the wind, rain, and other element. I do like that the jacket breathes as well so you don't get too hot and sweaty. If you are looking for a great light jacket for the Fall & Spring, look no further. There are a variety of colors to choose from as well, which is an added bonus. ... show more

I only got it today and wore it today (out in light rain, temp about 50 deg F). Love it so far. The outer shell is flexible but sturdy. It shed the rain very well. The fleece lining is thin, so also flexible and I expect it to slip over under-layers very well. Very comfortable and looks to be very well-made (the seams look very solid). The pockets are quite nice and I like that the main "hand" pockets are fleece-lined for warmth. The zippers all moved very well and seem quite sturdy. I did not make any adjustments to the hood (but I see that there are two individual ways to adjust the hood -- an elastic to tighten the "face" and an elastic to tighten the "depth" I guess, for lack of a better description). I left those alone, and the hood was perfect for me (but no wind of concern today). I like the cuffs (no velcro or tight elastic, just comfy mildly stretchy cuffs under the shell). I could easily see skiing in this with a sweater underneath, hiking in cooler or even warmer weather, etc. Seems VERY versatile to me. Quite comfortable. ... show more

I really like this jacket it is well-made and well constructed with large pockets on the inside easy access, nice hood works well. It’s a light jacket and I’ve worn it outside on my scooter walking the dog with temperatures between 30 and 40° and it is a bit chilly especially if there’s a breeze blowing. I was getting ready to take a trip to England, Scotland, and Ireland, and needed a jacket that would handle temps between upper 40's and lower 60's (October and November) with occasional rain. This jacket handled all aspects admirably. Using their sizing chart, size was perfect. Jacket has a lot going for it, especially from a travel pespective: It is easy to layer clothing underneath it, pockets are warm and lined, and something I found expecially helpful, was that the interior pocket is particularly deep. Was great for gloves, paper items, etc. with no doubts about them staying in place. Coat is also excellent for when you have to change temps, such as you are going inside but still need to wear your coat. It is light enough that it doesn't get in the way and you don't overheat with it on. Bonus for the jacket was that it folds up well so that I could put it under the straps of my travel backpack and it would still fit inside the overhead bin. Got caught in the rain a couple of times (no surprise there) and it handled the rain extremely well, shedding the rain quickly and also drying quickly. Only minor negative (and it didn't impact me, but it might some) is that the zipper on the small pocket on the left sleeve (used for keys, etc.) had a habit of sliding open. Again, no problem for me since I was not storing anything in there, but something to be aware of. All in all, an excellent purchase. Worth the money. ... show more
