This thing is tough and sturdy- I slept in it once with my 5yo and it held us both just fine. However, my child and his cousin have both complained about the ladder. It’s quite uncomfortable on the soles of feet while climbing, but it only takes a 10 seconds to climb up/down. Otherwise, It’s sleek & doesn’t take up too much space, considering all of the space underneath.

so I’m gonna first start off with how long it took me to build the bed. It took me about four hours by myself to do it. It wasn’t too hard just time-consuming. It is possible to build it by yourself because that’s how I did it. The only part that was difficult to me to do by myself was to, put the two pieces together because they both have to be standing up and you have to screw it onto the end of the bed. It’s possible just have side against the wall and the other side, leaning onto it and then adjust the position of the frame all of it is just , able to screw together with an Allen wrench and then another difficult part was putting the mattress onto the bed, but I figured it out. I am about 160 pounds. I have not bought it into the wall yet but it feels sturdy enough to wear. I could last without it it does shake a little bit, but nothing too scary. The steps do hurt so I put a blanket over and it’s just fine. from the bottom of the bedframe to the top, it’s about 6 feet so I would encourage to have 7 1/2 to 8 feet tall ceilings because then you could have space to set up in your bed. I think that it is very much worth the money and feels like it is going to Last. I do recommend this product.

This is is a really good bed, really tough and sturdy metal, however it is quite high, higher then a normal bunk bed, I’m tall so my head hit the ceiling, we had to lower them, there is one the one set of precut holes so if you need to lower them you are going to have to cut your own holes and it’s deff not the easiest to do you have to have a powerful drill and even then put all your weight into it, the screws it comes with strip extreamly easily so I would recommend nuts and bolts instead in case you need to make any changes to it, there is no cut out for the ladder area though so you have to either leave the last railing off at the end and get mattress stoppers to keep it from sliding off, (unless you can find a replacement railing that has the cut out but I can’t find one) or you have to climb over it every time witch is inconvenient and a bit painful, my sis and I got many bruises on our inner thighs from climbing over it to get up and down and we ended up haveing to sleep under it on the mattress on the floor until we got supplies to lower it and mattress stoppers to fix it

The bed was fine. The room was small, we had to take the blades off the ceiling fan to avoid any unfortunate accidents. Also, pay attention to where the vents are located ~ daughter about froze.
