It’s exactly what you expect for the price but it is worth it. I wish it locked into place. At the very least you have a functional cover for when you don’t want to have a larger lens on and it saves you a few seconds for when something pops up in the moment. Editing with its photos is amazing and fun. I’ve seen many people criticize these lenses for turning $1000 + cameras into cheep disposables. But with this lens you get the advantage of massive memory and raw photos that you can’t get with a dispo. But if someone doesn’t see the value in the nostalgia then this may not be worth it. I will also note that I would never personally use this for work unless requested by a client. On the other hand, I always bring it for my personal trips.

Really fun lens. Perfectly imperfect. Less thinking more shooting just gives the images something different not overly sharp just soft enough. Definitely worth it especially for something to just walk around with.

I picked up this Generic 32mm F10 Free Focus Pancake Lens out of curiosity, and it delivers a unique look that I love. Pros: Great vintage effect. The soft, dreamy quality gives photos a nostalgic feel. Lightweight and compact. Super portable. Cons: Feels a bit cheap. The build quality isn’t the best, but at this price, it’s expected. Aesthetic isn’t my favorite. Honestly, it looks like I have an Oreo cookie on my camera. Tip: Make sure to enable "Release Shutter Without Lens Attached" in your camera settings, or it won’t work. Overall, this is a fun, budget-friendly lens for experimenting with vintage-style photography. Just don’t buy it expecting high-end optics or premium build quality.

Breathe second life to my old Sony NEX-C3. Found that the lens worked best with harsh lighting like directly sunlight. A lot of the photos did have that soft vintage look that people aim for. Lens build itself is expected, for the price. Basically a glorified camera body cover with a disposable camera lens attached. Having the look of an Oreo definitely a plus though! Only critique of the lens is that it doesn't lock onto the cameras lens release mechanism and only twist onto the camera. Hasn't happened yet, but I feel like the lens can come off when placed in a backpack or in a pocket, possibly exposing the camera interior to dust.

so much fun to just throw this thing on my Sony and go have a day of shooting. It's all the fun of shooting a disposable film camera except that I can see the results immediately and for me that just makes it such a better experience. no editing required!!!
