I did buy a hitch carrier for it, even though the scooter can be folded and the battery removed and placed in the hatch of the suv. My dad had issues with getting it into the hatch. The battery charges well and is easy to remove and take inside. The battery is relatively heavy so someone weaker may have issues. All in all my parents love it.

Omg this scooter is fast if you want to go slow turn the speed dial to turtle. It's a gorgeous red and I bought it because I work in a warehouse with concrete floors and I've got sciatica.
