That's the ultimate review, right? That after receiving, unboxing, assembling, and sitting in a chair, we found it to be acceptable enough to get it a companion. So that's what we did. We got another. I'll add that they are not our primary, TV-watching chairs. They live in the fancier room where I'm not supposed to let the dogs on the furniture or else my wife will get upset with me. Seems it would be more appropriate for her to be upset with the dogs, but that's life. ... show more

Wanted a couple of "not-to-small" Barrel Chairs. Tried one set, didn't work for us. Looked around some more & found what we wanted. Only comment is that it requires a little thought to understand the directions. Wouldn't hurt to explain those details in plain language.

I wasn't expecting to have to assemble them but the instructions made sense and it wasn't difficult. The fabric is nice but it is just a slip cover with velcro, not upholstered. The spinning mechanism seems solid. They look like like the photo.

This chair comes in five main pieces that needs to be assembled. The instructions were straight forward and I was able to assemble the chair in 20 minutes. It comes with a slip cover that goes over the frame. The seat pillow and backrest pillow are firm and comfortable. Looks exactly as pictured. Worked great for the area. Would have gotten 5 stars but I couldn’t get the Velcro back to smooth exactly perfect. Swivels and is easy to assemble. (Ignore the no curtain in the room it’s a work in progress)
