Must have for wood turning.
It’s thick, feels like it’s a sturdy well made piece. A must have. So helpful in finding center on all wood.

nice and sturdy and simple to use
Initially i used it only to find center on uneven pieces before turning. Set it, align it and mark it. Simple. Then I started pinning it in the center and marking a circumference to trim before putting it on the lathe. It's well made, markings are clear and etched not printed so they won't fade. I've been keeping it in a sleeve between use so I haven't got it scratched yet and can't comment on that. Although it may not be the cheapest by a few bucks the quality is great and I'm pleased and would recommend.

It’s better than I thought. Super easy to read. Very thick,(which I was afraid of it being flimsy) Happy I purchased this. I use it to find center on logs for my lathe. Not all logs are perfectly straight or round.
