Although this is a review of a free product, I give you my word that my reviews will always be unbiased and truthful. I am building a small travel trailer, and I wanted to have a couple power outlets in it. I grabbed this up and when it arrived, I gave it a try. The size is great...not too big as to be hard to place, but large enough that is doesn't feel like a little POS from the box stores. It's a sturdy aluminum, and is well constructed. I love that it comes with a couple of the needed battery cables, though I will not be using them as I need much longer ones with where I am mounting it and where the deep cycle batteries. No biggie. It also comes with a wired remote that turns the inverter off and on. I used the included battery cables to hook it up to a 12v battery and gave it a try. I flipped the switch and it immediately came to life. It has 2 electrical outlets and a USB charge port as well. The color LED readout is nice, though I won't be able to see it when I have it mounted in a cabinet or wherever it ends up. My plan it to use a couple of extension cords kept plugged in full time, cut off the other ends, and wire them into a couple standard, household wall outlets elsewhere in the trailer. That way I can have power where I need it. It looks like it will work out great for what I am needing.

This is a modified sine wave inverter and will be fine for most loads within it's capacity. A modified sine wave is better than one doing a square wave but not as good as a pure sine wave. I know that can be a bit confusing. The build quality seems solid and I like that this comes with a built in volt meter to monitor conditions. This also comes with a wired remote which is handy if this unit is built into a cabinet. The remote is just an off on switch and does not have any monitoring functions like the built in volt display on the main unit. This also comes with a set of connection cables that may or may not be of proper length for your install. I loaded this up with a 1000 watt heater and it ran fine. The fans did run during my load test. This can also charge your cell phone and we all know if the phone is dead we may all loose our senses. This runs well and is worthy of consideration for a camper or truck.
