I have used the granite coated pots before. My last set lasted better than five years. The handles were falling off but they were still fairly non stick. So of course I went with what I knew. I looked at so many sets and this was a clear winner. First, I didn't pay more for a bunch of unnecessary utensils. I got everything I needed without all the junk. And they are beautiful. The pictures don't do them justice. The handles are amazing. Not real wood but you can't tell. Solid craftsmanship here. They aren't thin or flimsy. And the best part, they are truly non stick. My husband was amazed when I used the big skillet to make smothered pork chops. It was quite dirty when I was finished and he watched me wash it all away just rinsing under the faucet. I said now this is why you bought me this set. Looks like I never used them. Now to make them last, I never put them in the dishwasher. After washing and drying, I take a second to wipe them inside with a paper towel with a dime size drop of vegtable oil. Not to make them greasy, just a very thin coating that absorbs into the surface. I don't even have to do it every time. Used daily, once or twice a week. You will love these as much as I do. Love this set! I was due for a new pots and pans set and was afraid I would have to break the bank! This set is beautiful and non stick!! It’s extremely durable! I would suggest getting the inserts for pots and pans to store. Just to extend the longevity of the pans. They have great weight to them and the lids are nice and work well! I only wish all the pots/pans came with lids. It was nice to get a spatula included! ... show more

Love the pans.. realized we were missing the knives from the set which is a super bummer. Pans were going great for the two weeks we’ve had them. Recently we had family over watching our kids while we attended a wedding and they ended up making burger for dinner and used a metal spatula on the large skillet pan and it scratched so heavily after the one use.. I’m so bummed. My family didn’t know to not use metal on them and I never told them I don’t use metal on them so it was just a miscommunication moment that ended in my brand new pan all scratched up.. ... show more
