Good value for the price. Holds my longer rifles including a WWII Garand with room to spare. Handgun pouches easily fit a S&W 1911 .45 and a Remington .22 pistol. Lots of storage for ammo and tools. Like many others have said this is a gun cabinet not a safe. A minute or two max with a good crow bar or power tools and someone could be right into it, but just to keep the guns hidden and away from curious hands it works well. Like the fact it has a digital lock, emergency keys, and comes with an emergency back-up power brick. Assembly isn't hard, but does take some patience. I found putting the top on last before adding the doors was a better way to assemble it. You need a darn magnifying glass to read the instruction manual if you are old like me. Would buy some lag screws and attach it at two points to a stud; the anchors it comes with are garbage.

Save the extra bucks for your local vendor. This came in late. and dented in every corner. and it’s flimsy. if someone wanted to get into this safe. kicking it hard enough would break the screws holding it by a thread. i only got this for temporary storage. i would not recommend for long term.

Gun racks are foam rubber with strips of metal tape to hold guns. Not good for guns as they can fall over easily.It is NOT a gun safe .It is a cabinet and it wont hold 30-40 guns .16 at most because it doesnt have any more foam racks and 2 pistol sleeves on the door.You also have to remove racks on sides to remove guns on back wall to take guns on each end out of the cabinet.It is easy to assemble but fixing the rubber racks to hold guns is a pain in the rear.They have to to the cabinet or they will slide.I would look around before I bought another as this one really isnt as good asadvertised for the price.

Really, really nice for the price. I paid $169 plus tax. Shipped in a very safe cardboard box with foam an aluminum reinforcements. Definitely something a thief could get into if they had some time/not worried about noise, but that’s probably apparent from the page. Great for keeping kids out. Decent amount of room. Sorta small for rifles with tall optics and long mags, but you fit several. My only gripe is with the keypad. Hard to get it to light up to start entering your code sometimes, but for the price, I think it’s acceptable assuming the locking mechanism continues to work. Probably opened and closed it 50-100 times in past few weeks and seems to be doing fine. The key backup is really nice to have and should work as long as the locking mechanism itself doesn’t fail altogether. Really nice for the money.

I don’t really want to give the safe a horrible review because it is OK, but it’s not what’s advertised. The description said ..”5-8 Fireproof Rifle Gun Safe”.. (1st) There’s only slots inside for 5 rifles. There’s definitely not enough room for 8 rifles unless they’re just thrown in. (2nd) The safe is only fireproof in the same way any metal box is fireproof. There is no additional insulation (other than a thin felt lining) added to increase the contents survivability in the event of a fire. If you’re looking for a simple metal locker/safe to keep kids and otherwise honest adults away from your firearms, it’s fine but there are probably less expensive options. (&. 3rd) though this one is less important, it took me probably 20 minutes to figure out the initial set up instructions to program the Keypad. Not a dealbreaker, but it wasn’t the clearest setup instructions.
