Set up was a breeze, almost to the point you don't need instructions. Everything was in perfect condition and fit together perfectly. The quality was much nicer than I anticipated. I couldn't imagine this item ever getting any bad reviews. The versatility and sizing of this bed safety rail is absolutely amazing. I love the padding on the bars and the fact that this is so tall that I do not have any fear of her falling out nor her being able to climb up it. It fits so snug against the bed it was hard for me to get my covers to tuck under so there's no way she would fall out underneath either. No bad smell either. I definitely recommend. I am so glad I did my research and ended up going with this one.

Great quality and easy to assemble
We got 2 of these after our baby launched himself off the bed. I think there’s a stage where babies start slithering or are suddenly able to flip and it catches you off guard. As soon as it happened, we ordered these rails and we love them. We got the length intended for a queen, but due to the shape of our custom made bed, they were too long. Still, I was really happy with the quality of this brand and didn’t want to exchange for another, so I simply took one unit off of each horizontal piece and now it fits perfectly. I do suggest washing the mesh pieces first, as they smelled upon unboxing. It’s a bit difficult to click each side to lower since my arms aren’t long enough, but it’s easy enough to do one side, then the other, and lower. Lastly, the sewing quality is fantastic. Now our baby gravitates towards them and falls asleep with his entire weight on them. No tips, tears, or any issues at all.

Solid bed rails, but thick mattresses may have fitment issues

These bed rails are well-built and feel sturdy once installed, which gave me the extra peace of mind I was looking for when my child is in bed with us. The overall build quality is solid, and I have no concerns about the strength of the rails themselves. My main issue was compatibility with a thicker, plush queen mattress. While I purchased the queen-size version for a queen bed, the fit was extremely tight, making it difficult to connect all the corners properly. Because of the tension, the corner caps would occasionally pop off during normal movement on the bed. I ended up using some DIY paracord reinforcement to secure the corners, and after that, the rails worked much better. If you have a slimmer mattress, I think these rails would be an excellent option. For thicker mattresses, be prepared for a tight fit and potentially some extra adjustments. Overall, they accomplished my goal of adding an extra layer of safety and peace of mind, but the installation experience could be improved for larger mattresses.

Sturdy little guardrail that actually holds up

My toddler tried to test this thing the first night and it didn't budge, which says a lot. It's heavier than I expected when I unboxed it, but that's clearly why it stays put all night long. The height adjusts easily as she grows, and it folds down flat during the day so I'm not tripping over it. Worth it for the peace of mind alone.

Besides the protection this rail provides, the next most important thing is the peace of mind!
This is really good to have if you have little toddlers and don't have a crib, or if you just want to lay down with them and put them to sleep in your bed and then leave them there to finish their nap. That's when this thing is really awesome because you can simply attach it to the edge of your bed and have a much better barrier between your little one and the floor. A baby rolling off the side of the bed is a real danger, and I definitely wouldn't want to take that chance. It is really easy to attach to the bed! They fit perfectly on our king size bed. I love the stability and the appearance is not so bad either. I've got two of them, so when my kiddos are sleeping in the bed that is normally shared by the wife and I, I put one on each side of the bed because you never know which way a baby might decide to roll. I know a lot of people use pillows and things to try to build a barricade around their baby, but that would worry me a lot. I wouldn't be able to relax if I knew I only had pillows protecting my baby from rolling onto the floor. These guards provide a whole lot more protection and, to me, you can't put a price on peace of mind when it comes to something like this. They seem to be really well made, they're easy to attach, and they're such a good thing to have if you have little babies!! In my opinion the asking price for this unit is really fair and reasonable! I would absolutely recommend this product to my friends and family!!

Be sure you have a Compatable bedframe

This really should specify that's it's primarily designed for wooden bed frames. It says "screws are recommended for wooden frames" so that made me believe it'd be compatible with a metal grid like bed frame. The instructions say "Ribs bed and iron frame bed can be fixed with ropes.", I'm not tying this thing down with ropes to me bed frame lol. Highly recommend getting a different rail if you have a similar bed frame. If we had a wooden one or if the metal was wide enough to screw into it would be fine. I gave it a second star due to decent materials used for production as a plus but they should really disclose this doesn't work as well with grid frames. Asking the customer to get some rope to tie it down is just lazy, just be transparent with it's applications is all.
