Looks nice on the wall and has a strong magnet. Installation was pretty easy and it comes with hardware to mount on multiple surfaces. I drilled one side into a stud and a drywall anchor for the other side. Even has screw hole covers which is nice. Wife approved.

It was very easy to install and it holds my 3 knives, grater and kitchen scissors. The magnet inside is very strong and whatever I put there would never fall off. I used to store my nice knife on the dish rack and the tip would rust... I should have purchased this a long time ago!

If you change your mind about placement it's impossible to remove the small dowels that you push in over the screws. I LOVE the way it looks and it functions great however when I move I will have to damage the knife rack itself and the wall it's adhered to. Only use this if it's going to be 100% permanent. Otherwise is it's beautiful and functions great! Also if you use the adhesive stickers to put it on they stick out considerably from both sides looking a little tacky. I'm generally pleased with this purchase.

I spent 10 minutes installing this. It took that long because I had to pull out my drill and level, not because it was that hard. I chose to install with the wall anchors, which seem good enough to me, instead of adhesive, so I can't speak to the effectiveness of that option. The holes are large enough that I could use a pencil lead to mark the holes without any issue. The only question mark on this is that, yes, it comes with wooden plugs to put over the screw holes, but they do not sit flush, friction fit, or come with a way to remove them. I'm a bit nervous to figure out how to remove it since I can't fit anything around it, and I can't just tip the block over to spill them out since it's attached to the wall. Maybe a vacuum? Nonetheless, it dresses the kitchen up, holds onto knives tight, and gets the knives out of our drawer. For the price, it's hard to find a better option.

Counterspace is at a premium in my home with my ridiculous lack of counterspace. And it seems every knife block I have used is either insufficient for space or design, and just plain bulky. My sister got one of these for her home and said the magnetic power was amazing, so I decided to try it for myself. My husband was the most pleased. We mounted it on the backsplash wall near the utensil caddy. Now we have more room on the counter. Every inch counts. I would recommend getting two if you used to keep your steak knives in the block as well. The grip is very good, and it gives the option of using anchor screws or stick on if a person rents.
