    • You have to take the battery out to charge it.
Review Image by Rolando Garrido
It’s bright and completely waterproof. I use it for work and I dropped it in a bucket of water while fixing some pipes under a sink and I rinsed it off and it’s like nothing happened. Shut off and turned right back on. It comes with extra seals for the battery cover. You do have to take the battery out to charge it. I’m assuming for max water resistance. Been using it for months now and it’s dropped off ladders plenty of times and not even a flicker when it drops. I got this because my other swivel light broke but I’m reality if it can pivot it can snap. This feels sturdy and not too much play. You can get 18650 batteries for this. But you have to take the battery out and plug the battery into a micro usb that’s on the side of the batt. Almost the perfect design. Has all the strobe features and you have to hold the button down for 2 seconds so it won’t just come on in your pocket. Magnet battery cover and it’s pretty strong. ... show more

    • Very bright and functional
Very good value. Strong build quality has a very good magnet for screws or sticking to metal. Battery last a long time the light has 4 settings Max is almost to much for most settings. Small and fits nice in the tool bag. Can swivel to 90 degree which makes it very versatile.

    • Good flashlight. Nice and compact. Great for toolboxes.
Good flashlight. I like the angled head and the magnetic base. It’s very bright, almost too bright, but has four brightness settings. Battery has good life. I’m a service technician and I was looking for a compact flashlight for my toolbox. I like that it’s small and lightweight. Fits in my toolbox without a lot of bulk. My only minor complaint is that the battery must be removed and charged separately. I would have liked a charge port on the flash light instead of on the battery. It’s not a deal breaker, though. ... show more

    • Handy little flashlight for office, car, lab, outdoors.
I saw someone at work with an N7 flashlight. I got me an N9 and I love it. I use it for visual inspections of machinery. Likes: small with adjustable brightness levels, plenty bright at night. Handy pivoting headlight, magnet base. Big plus: replaceable standard size Li-ion rechargeable battery. Just one minor nitpick: you can carry the flashlight on your belt using the belt clip. However, depending on where you clip it in your belt, the belt clip may snap out of the flashlight if you for example bend down. The flashlight may fall off without you noticing. I have done this a few times but luckily, I haven't lost the flashlight. ... show more

    • I’ve had these for a few years and it’s the best
I used to use some higher end $50-$80 Olight brand lights, among others. Always problematic, and it came down to their circuitry. I use these Nicrons for automotive work every day, and heavily. I have beat the hell out of them. Dropped them from tall heights onto concrete, left by accident outside during a snow storm, etc. They just keep working. And although the price has come up, I can afford to lose these. I can’t say that about a $100 flashlight. The most important detail, one you haven’t thought of: the pocket clip is reversible. I can clip this to my baseball cap and have a headlight. I do this all the time to free up my hands and put light where I need it. I use this far more often than the magnetic backing. ... show more

    • Bright and Highly Adjustable
The NICRON Flashlight has become a reliable companion for my camping trips and garage work. The brightness it offers is quite impressive, illuminating dark spaces effectively. What I love most is the 90-degree swivel head; it’s been invaluable when I need to direct light while keeping my hands free, especially with the added bonus of the magnetic end which I can stick to metal surfaces. The rechargeability is convenient, saving me from buying disposable batteries. While I haven’t explored all six modes, the ones I've used met my lighting needs well. This flashlight is now a must-have in my outdoor and work gear. ... show more

    • Exactly what I expected
It was exactly what I expected it to be. It's well-built and I am very pleased with it.

    • Outstanding
I'm an rv technician, and I keep this on me all day every day. When one battery is charging, I use another as backup. Durable, bright, reliable. 2 years of daily use before batteries won't take a charge, but I think they got plugged into a bad outlet, so no fault there. I've bought these as gifts also, would recommend. ... show more
