    • Overall good product, leaves some to be desired
I ordered this product primarily to experiment with Amazon's Subscribe-and-Save service. After doing a few cost comparisons this seemed to be a pretty good value, and I also am partial to and have a history using Nivea products (specifically their after-shave balm). I enjoy mentholated products (or at least, products that let the skin tingle a little), so I was excited to give this a shot. However, I personally cannot tell there is any menthol in the product whatsoever. It feels like a normal bodywash (and that is a good feeling, mind you - there are no particles or "beads" or any of that stuff -- it's a nice, consistent product that lathers nicely). Also of note is the smell...to my nose it is bordering on bug spray. It's difficult to articulate; for me it smells like bug spray right out of the bottle but it doesn't linger after a good towel dry. 4 stars because it works and is a good value; up that menthol content and you'll get 5. ... show more

In contrast with other reviews, I actually think that the new formula works well. The soap is much thicker and seems to last longer. After showering, I feel refreshed and smell really nice.

    • Great product. decent smell, nice finish
I've been using this product for years. I am satisfied with the results and so I see no reason to switch. Other brands can leave you feeling slick and sticky. Nivea 3-in-1 provides a nice, clean finish with a great scent. Highly recommended.

    • A great product for a guy who has sensitive skin, wants lather and doesn't want anything perfumy...
My husband has been using Nivea Men Cool 3 in 1 wash for several years now. We did away with bar soap years ago when I learned that the paraffin and waxes and other ingredients found in solid soap bars were what was drying and clogging our skin. FYI: They are also the culprits behind that disgusting pink stuff that makes cleaning the shower and bath tub a regular challenge. Many soft soaps don't have those ingredients in them so bathroom maintenance is much easier. Best of all, both us saw an immediate difference in our skin when we stopped using bar soap. Nivea has really helped my husband who has sensitive skin. Other products he tried had overwhelming scents or had ingredients that dried and aggravated his skin. Another plus is that the Nivea lathers and lathering was the one thing that my husband missed from bar soap, but the Nivea Men delivers those scrubbing bubbles, leaving him feeling clean and fresh. He also finds that the Nivea "Cool" is calming and soothing to his sensitive skin. It has a nice, subtle, clean smelling fragrance, that I feel layers nicely with his cologne. ... show more
