I drive a 2018 Toyota Sienna, which famously does not support Android Auto. However, the very last headunit update did add wired Apple CarPlay support, which is nice except that I only use Android phones. This ABVPO 3-in-1 adapter is the solution to not only turning wired CarPlay into wireless, but it also enables (wireless) Android Auto in my CarPlay-only vehicle (and vice versa, I would expect). How it does this is pretty simple when you see how it works: the adapter connects to the vehicle's smartphone integration system, but it then outputs it's own intermediary operating system instead of straight up AA/CP. From that intermediary OS, you can then choose whether the the adapter should connect to your phone via AA or CP. So now instead of spending $400+ on a replacement headunit to enable my smartphone integration system of choice, I can use my OEM headunit to enable AA on what originally was CP-only system, and pay only $75. ... show more

I literally plugged it in, paired my phone, and now my music starts automatically when I start the car instead of needing a cable. It occasionally restarts after shifting out of reverse, but otherwise, I'm very happy since I don't have to plug anything in. When it’s posted seamless connection do you think plug it in and start watching Netflix but that’s not the case You need to then connect another device such as a fire stick or another media device for it to start working and I’m not trying to have all these cables and wires hanging out. Can be a little tricky to set up. READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS! Works as it should with no command delays. I don't leave it plugged in when I exit the vehicle because the light stays on, and I'm not sure if it turns off or will drain the battery. So far, overall, a good purchase.
