Oh what was I thinking! My old door opener was mounted on the garage when I bought the house. It worked horribly for 11 years now. I didn't want to think what these cost since my Chamberlain compatible remotes are about $40 everywhere. So finally I looked, saw this ad, and was, REALLY? You've got to be kidding??? I could have ended the madness for tad over $20, and 2 extra remotes thrown in! YES! This garage door remote set is pretty good, tho programming was a little bit complicated for the pin pad. On all the units, you have to set the “mode” of operation, depending on the type of opener you have. For the little keychain remotes, that is easy, then they program up pretty quickly to the opener. The pin pad is a bit wonky. The instructions are mostly correct. Following this sequence of holding the # & * buttons until the lights stop blinking, then enter the code followed by # and then you hit the enter key the number of times necessary to set the mode, and finally 0 (zero) to close the program mode. Now the pin pad is ready to be used. On a stock branded pin pad, you don’t set the code on the pad, you set it as part of the encrypted key when programming the opener. So that tells me these pin pads are only emulating a standard button remote rather than being fully encrypted. This defeats the purpose of the Security+2.0 standard. The part where the manual is wrong is this: the manual says to enter the code and press & release the enter key. However because it is emulating a standard button remote, you actually have to enter the code and HOLD the enter key until the opener recognizes it. Overall it’s a good set at a good price. Just take your time programming, you may have to do the pin pad a couple times to get it fully set.

My garage door opener keypad refused to work any longer. So I had to get a new one. When I found this universal garage door keypad, and remotes, I immediately went to the garage to make sure that it would be compatible. I was so happy when I found that this would work perfectly. So I had my husband take off the old one and put on the new one. It comes with a battery already installed. No more clunky remotes that go on your visor of your car. These have two upgraded keychain remotes. I like these a lot better they’re small and compact and worked great. The installation was very easy. There is a garage door keypad manual that is included. It also gives you the compatibility list of garage doors that can be used with this universal keypad and remotes. The step-by-step instructions were very easy to follow. The directions are also in Big bold print. That was the biggest bonus of all. I didn’t even have to get my glasses out. A really nice feature is that you can put in a pin code for yourself, but you can also put a pin code in that only your neighbors or your guests will be able to use. That way you can change them anytime you want. Each garage door opener has a learn button. It could be yellow, purple, green, red, or orange. Depending on the color that your garage door has is which programming step you will follow in the manual. This worked perfectly the first time we tried and I’m so glad I finally have an opener that works again.

I bought this product because our son recently purchased a motorcycle and needed a garage door that was easily accessible to him when he was on his bike. The keychain remotes were ideal and at first, programming just the one was perfect – the rest of our remotes in each of our vehicles, including mine, which has home link. As soon as I programmed the second keychain, remote, that’s when everything went to hell – all of a sudden, my husband‘s universal remote in his truck did not work and my home link did not work either. I now cannot get any of the remotes to properly operate anymore with our LiftMaster garage door opener. I do not know if there is a correlation or not, but programming that second keychain remote ruined everything. I am not sure if anyone else has had this issue, as it seems like all of the reviews that were written seem to have this product function, normally, and properly, with no issue with anyone’s other remotes or openers or home link systems. I do like the keychain, remote, but now that I have spent close to three hours, trying to reprogram every single other remote after programming the second keychain remote, I’m not so certain of its functionality, which account accounts for the three stars

Easy to set up, I love the small key fobs, which are great for going for a walk or a bike ride or handing off to your kids for easy access. Price-wise it's a good deal given the fobs, but if you don't need them, you can find a better deal without. All-in-all a straight forward replacement for my aging opener.

This garage door opener set is exactly what I was looking for!!! I wanted a second opener on the other side of my garage and the main unit works great for that. My wife and I both love the keychain remotes in that they allow us to now open/close the garage door from our motorcycles! This is a great thing and the company should market to motorcycle owners more. The pics show the remote on my motorcycle keychain, so you can see that it is small. The one with it in my ignition shows that I can still access the remote anytime I need it on my bike! Easy to program using the learn button on the garage door unit. Would highly recommend.

Our opener didn't come with the outdoor keypad, and I was very happy to provide this with the added functionality of the two keychain remotes. Works and paired easily with my Liftmaster purple-button opener. The keypad is as durable and [discreetly] visible as any other analogous keypad I've used out in the wild. Love how small and portable the keychains are!
