I purchased this sofa bed because my mother was coming to visit for 3 1/2 weeks, and while I have a guest bedroom, I did not have a guest bed. First of all, I just want to say that my mother is approaching 80 and frail, and she *loved* this sofa bed. The three large rectangular cushions are firm but very comfortable and retain their shape, whether you're sitting or sleeping on them. The metal pull-out bed frame that supports the cushions is sturdy and well made, and yet the cushions are firm enough that my mother never felt the metal supports at all. She slept so well and was so impressed with the sofa bed cushions that she decided that her mattress at home was much too soft, and plans to buy a firmer mattress. Converting it from a sofa to a bed and back again every day for 3 ½ weeks was so easy, even my elderly mother was able to do it unassisted. The sofa isn't very high off the ground, which made it perfect for my mother, who is only 5’ tall. When seated on larger furniture, her feet often dangle off the ground, but when she sat on this sofa, her feet were firmly on the ground. I'm a lot taller than my mother—5’8—but even I found it comfortable to sit on. I appreciate the fact that all the cushion covers could be removed and washed, especially since I purchased the beige one. Even Scotchguarding the fabric won't be 100% effective against stains over time, so knowing I can just throw the covers in the washing machine if they get dirty gives me peace of mind. Many other people have remarked on the velcro straps that secure the metal frame inside the sofa so that it doesn't slide out when you're moving it. For some reason, the manufacturer decided to stitch the scratchy "hook" side of the velcro straps onto the fabric of the sofa frame. This causes the linen-fabric-covered cushions to be snagged by the velcro hooks every time you remove them or replace them. Over time, this will certainly cause the fabric to pill and stretch, weakening the fabric until it tears. What's even more odd is that even though the hook and loop strips are both the same size, the way the loop strips have been sewn into the sofa frame makes it so they don't completely cover the hook strips when the sofa bed is closed. So no matter if you're removing or replacing the cushions, the fabric snags on the hook strips. I remedied this by simply cutting the loop strips off the metal frame entirely, then used them to completely cover the hook strips. When I'm feeling more ambitious, I plan to use a seam ripper to remove the hook strips from the inside entirely. If/when we have to move the sofa, we'll just tie the metal frame together to keep it from sliding out. It would be easy for the manufacturer to fix this design flaw as many people have mentioned it. Why they haven't done so is a mystery to me. Others have mentioned having difficulties in assembling the item, but we didn’t experience any issues in that area. I will say that the 4 square throw pillows that come with the unit are pretty underwhelming. Those could definitely be a lot thicker. I don’t love the plastic cupholders that are built into the armrests, as I think they look sort of cheap. In my opinion the designers should get rid of those altogether. But I do appreciate the concept of the built-in USB charger, as it allowed my mother to sit on the sofa and use her phone while simultaneously charging it. I just wish the port were in a less conspicuous area, maybe on the back of the armrest. Still, it’s absolutely a quality product for the price, my mother was very comfortable sleeping and sitting on it, and I have no regrets about purchasing it, and no qualms whatsoever about making it available to future guests.

I bought this for a friend ,who visits me once or twice a month every month . Futons are great when you are younger , but as one gets older you need a bed with a little more height . / For the loveseat itself , it is very comfortable & stylish . Due to space limitations we left off the arms of the loveseat — it still looks good !! / Not to sound sexist ,if you are a woman you will need help putting it together We women just think differently ! / One of my commandments is “Thou shall not buy anything that needs to be assembled “. There is no such thing as easy assembly . / The directions are simple enough , but putting things together is not one of my strong suits . Help is there if you need it , so contact the seller . They want to help ! / My friend gets a good nights sleep since I got this new bed for him. I’m just happy that he was able to help me get the bed together ! It is also a very cute loveseat .

Much sturdier than I thought it would be! It’s pretty darn solid!! Easy to convert to a bed! I did get a two inch mattress topper for it and it’s really comfortable to sleep on!! I am short so it’s perfect for me to sit and lay on but a taller person might have a lil trouble! The pillows aren’t very fluffy but for a $300 it’s perfect! The usb c charging port does not work so I can’t use it to charge my phone unless I have an adapter but again, for the price it is top notch!!thank you

Cup holders are small. They can accommodate 10oz soda cans, shot glasses or other small cups. The metal bars can easily be felt through the 3 in/7.62cm padding that is provided. I have used the couch function, lounge function and bed function. All are just okay. If you double up the cushions then you will be comfy. But using only one cushion as shown in the pictures except the couch being shown as doubling up cushions. It's okay. Not the best but it could be worse. I slept on it and woke up with my hip in pain due to the thin cushions and metal bars for support. Pulling and pushing the bar in and out does cause it to rub against each other and with time there's a high possibility that it will wear down and could break or seize up. But that would take some time. I leave mine in lounge position. So moving it a lot isn't going to happen. Something to warn about. It sits about 12 in/30.48cm off the ground. If you have bad knees or struggle getting up. You will 100% struggle with this low to the ground couch. The usb plugs are on the right hand side of the couch and located behind your arm so you should be okay to not accidentally bump your plugs. You will need a usb-a plug to plug the couch in.

3.7 The size is perfect for a small apartment. The cushioning is hard for a sofa. I expected to be more comfortable to sit down. Works really good as a pull bed. I added a foam mattress on top and it was really good. I had a visitor that stayed over a week with no complaints, Easy to organize. In general it is a good product, just needs more comfortable a a better cushioning.
