The media could not be loaded. Really wanted to like this item. First time mom and baby sleeps with me he’s 4 months and is beginning to roll he will not sleep in his crib or bassinet alone only with me on my chest or beside me. Husband hasn’t slept in the bed since I’ve had the baby for safety since baby and I co-sleep so there’s enough room . So I got this so baby can be safe and hubby can come back to the bed. Two of the pieces will not fit so I have two additional pieces left over and I followed all of the instructions the stitching where the zippers are is unraveling and there still some what of a gap . Also the part you can lift for easy access to baby will not stay up I know you can clamp it to the holders but the holders are so weak the it will not stay ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Is it as 5 star safe as a crib? Probably not. Is it safer than your 6 month old being free in your bed or you accidentally falling asleep with them? Yes. Do some babies have a spidey sense for being transferred no matter what you do? Yes. This is for us. Lol

I bought this for my niece and her newborn daughter. I had something similar when we had our daughter, and I knew she'd love it. I put it together for her, and she has told me several times how convenient it is. She was using a bedside bassinet thing that wasn't convenient.
