This three-piece steel trumpet dog door meets my needs perfectly. The three flaps really insulate the door from the elements better than a single door, and the felt in the centre acts as a great cushion. The steel casing is sturdy and durable, and the sliding rails are smooth, so your dog can get in and out with ease. That sliding locking panel is a practical design to completely seal the doorway. This 3-piece steel dog door is literally made for it! Installed underneath the door of your home, it is just the right height and width. The three piece door design makes it very comfortable for your little one to get in and out without having to squeeze sideways. The steel frame is sturdy and feels like it will last for years. What reassures me the most is its extreme weather protection and insulation design, so no cold winds blowing directly in the winter and not too much interior temperature loss in the summer. The sliding lock panel design is user friendly and can be locked completely when needed to prevent the dog from wandering off.

We installed this dog door for our 85 lb Labrador, and it's been performing great so far. The triple-flap design really helps with insulation—there’s much less draft compared to our old one, and it feels solid and secure. Installation took a bit of time but was manageable with the instructions provided. The telescoping tunnel made it easier to fit through our thick door. The sliding lock panel is a nice touch too—it gives peace of mind when we’re not home. What I appreciate most is that the frame is made of steel, not plastic, so it feels sturdy and long-lasting. No rust issues either after a few rainy days. It’s definitely a good fit for homes that experience more extreme weather. I bought this pet door for my mom and it’s been such a great purchase. I really like that it has three flaps, which makes it a better fit for a variety of door types. It’s super flexible and feels more secure than some of the other options we looked at. Installation was really easy. It didn’t take long at all, and it was straightforward enough that we didn’t need any extra tools or help. I totally forgot to snap a picture before I left, but I’m going to try to get one from my mom so I can update the review. Her dogs have been using it constantly, and it’s holding up really well. The magnetic closure is sturdy and clicks back into place every time, so no drafts or flapping around. I’ve been so happy with how this one worked out that I’m planning to order a smaller version for my cats. Highly recommend! Value for money: Great value for money! Durability: Holding up well! In the past, when there was no pet door installed, every time I took my dog out to go to the toilet, I had to hold it, which was particularly tiring.
