Absolutely amazing quality, the pages are thick so no ink bleeds through, the cover is thick, super easy to use, the design is beautiful, definitely a good gift. Now it does smell, not really bad, just smells like natural leather so I guess you know it’s not a knock off.

I can't believe I'm actually staying something like that, but yeah, it's actually exactly what you'd expect. The paper actually feels aged, rough, almost cloth like. The binding is ACTUALLY leather, the cover is ACTUALLY leather. Like, real leather, not fake stuff. This is perfect for my DnD character, to take notes in (as well as writing her backstory as journal entries) This thing feels super sturdy and very rugged. I believe this book is creative and classic in style which I love. The quality seems good but I just got it today so can’t give real testimony on that yet. It does have a slight moldy smell so I really hope there isn’t real mold within the material. I plan to spray with favorite perfume which I hope helps. And there are only 152 pages if you count front and back. So that is really disappointing and I feel it should be discounted for that quantity control issue. But I love it too much to return it for that reason which a lot of others said also. I love I can fit it in a medium size purse and take anywhere. ... show more

Great leather journal and hard to beat the price. I used this journal for D&D and my players loved it. I also cut out some pages to make more props that they loved as well. It feels high quality, looks authentically worn and doesn't smell bad like some of these leather products have in the past. The color of the leather and the pages are great and really sell the worn and weather look, but be careful of using an eraser on the pages as it will get rid of the yellowing. A good amount of pages in this book, although they are a bit small. Overall, perfect cheap prop to level up your D&D game or a perfect little journal to keep your thoughts in.
