Simple camera that seems to work fine. Decent picture. Lens angle could be wider, and the night vision could be a little better, and the resolution as well, but it's good for what it is, and has been working good so far. Be sure to check how the camera records and mock fit the windshield attachment because once it's stuck in place, it's not coming off easily! Which is a good thing! Those suction cups always get brittle and crack or lose their form to hold vacuum. Plenty of cable to hide behind panels. The rearward facing camera works nicely. Again make sure it's located where nothing blocks its field of view. Sound is fine and loop recording is great. Comes on with power and turns off without, which is good for my vehicle. I believe it has a parking mode, but I haven't played with that. I like that you can turn off the inside screen and still see the power light. Overall not bad so far. We'll see with the test of time. Worth the purchase at the price point so far.

I wanted to use this dash cam for several weeks before writing a review. I've been driving a lot more and much farther recently due to a family emergency. I've been wanting a dash cam for some time, and after doing some comparison shopping on dash cams that were double the price, I selected the Prilotte dash cam. It does everything I need it to do, which includes a front facing camera, along with a rear facing integrated into the same unit. The camera shows a wide angle view of the road, and also out the rear window. I also like that it has 32 gig micro SD card. The only downside, for me, is that it doesn't hold a charge very long if left unplugged, so I tend to leave it plugged all the time. Otherwise, great product and does what I need it to do.

So it’s been a year since I wanted to get a dash cam. It was just lying around for 3 months till I installed it. So gluying the front cam was not a problem, glue is good. Rear cam I didn’t understand why there is the red cable I just plugged the black one in the front cam and it seems to be working fine. I was thinking I need to connect it to wires in my back light or something like that which scared me so much. I can see it’s recording but didn’t really check it on computer yet. I don’t understand how the inside cam works as it doesn’t really adjust that much.

Easy 5-minute set up. Works well. Microphone can either be on or off. There’s a day or night mode. Hope the SD card could have more than 32GB though. I tried putting in a 256GB SD card but I found out it wouldn’t accept it. Nothing gets recorded, so I had to switch it back to the included SD card. Also, it would have been better if the camera for the inside of the vehicle can be adjusted more easily without affecting the front camera. It can be moved up or down but it’s still quite useless. Otherwise, still a really great product for its price point.

This dashcam was very easy to install and use. Right now my only complaint about it is when I pulled the micro-sd card to review the videos on it, the picture quality from both day and night driving was fuzzy and the audio from the videos were very garbled to the point where you can't hardly make out what people are saying. I'm not sure if I just got a bad camera or if I need to play with the settings more. I have the camera set to record in 1080P thinking it would be the highest quality image, I was wrong about this camera.

This product is small yet very powerful when it comes to recording any thing suspicious around your vehicle and I think it blends in well from the rear back camera right beside the reverse camera that I look out of and it blends into my rearview mirror where my phone mount is also at. It also makes sense that it’s not powered on all the time only when it detects movement to your vehicle. Great product overall!

The media could not be loaded. The camera quality is about what you expect for something in this price range. I would rate this product 5 stars if the rear-view camera worked as intended. Sadly, unless the unit is on battery it will not detect the rear camera. I explain and demonstrate this in my video. For anyone purchasing this unit please keep that in mind that the rear-view camera is not going to work as intended. Also to note - people are confused by the red wire on the rear-view camera. The red wire is to be connected to your reverse lights and will cause the lights on the rear camera to turn on. However, your dash cam must be plugged in, charging from the car for this to work in order to complete the circuit. If purchasing only to use the front camera unit then it is well worth the money. All in all, a solid camera and I am happy with the main unit, but very disappointed that I spent a lot of time putting the rear camera in for it to not work. I tested it outside the vehicle, and it worked on battery, so I assumed it was good to install. But as soon as you connect power the camera freezes or is not detected.

I recently was involved in a fender bender and when it came down to the "he said, she said" with no proof of what actually happened, I decided I needed to purchase a dash cam. So I did my research and felt this one was the right one for me & I am so happy with that decision. Having this dash cam on the front and rear has greatly eased my overall driving experience knowing that I will now always have a digital record of what is going on while I'm in my vehicle. The resolution is very clear and it ensures that I am able to capture my surroundings without any doubts. It is even very clear at night due to the night-time sensor. Another feature I loved was the loop recording, it has provided me great peace of mind knowing that I will never miss a moment. I really feel in today's society, we can never be too safe, and having this dash cam is truly beneficial for all those safety-conscious drivers. Having this will keep you from being stuck like I was and that is not a position I would hope for anyone.
