Description

This unique flower sends its foliage in the spring and has lovely smooth green leaves into summer. those die away, and suddenly, in the late September/early October, seemingly overnight, a flower spike rises from the ground (or from the dead leaves, thus the "resurrection part of it all) and gives you a beautiful, showy soft pink flower. These are truly unique and a great gardening conversation piece. They will be shipped freshly dug as a bareroot plant. Perfect for early spring, summer, or early fall planting. Would not advise planting in the winter, of course. Remember that these are a live, bareroot plant. Please order them during a time of year that they can be safely shipped in non-freezing temperatures.

Planting today for next year's foliage and bloom. The bulbs are in excellent shape and well packed. Note that each year can be different in timing on when the leaves come up and later when the flowers sprout. Also note that the bulbs need well drained soil. j

They never came up after being planting! 23 of older transplanted bulbs, which had been given to me all came up. Unlike the southern zone ones I had planted which didn't come up. This variety was to do well in central IL. I'll buy locally and not take chances planting something that won't grow in a shorter period of time ... show more

    • Finally, they are coming up 2+ years later
I bought these Naked Lady Bulbs in April 2022 and planted them as soon as they arrived. I just noticed today, 07/23/24, they are finally coming up. I thought they were duds, or something had eaten them, but 2 + years later, 2 of the 3 bulbs are coming. Only up about 5 inches, but I am hopeful.

Purchased these for our daughter’s lily garden which is a memorial garden for a precious 3 year old Lily taken from us way too soon. This later bloomer will complement her existing garden and bloom closer to our Lily’s birthday. They are a beautiful lily in the amaryllis family. The stem and flower bloom first in stark beauty and afterwards the beautiful green leaves emerge. It is a sight to behold. Getting more for myself! Thanks! ... show more
