I bought this drone because I wanted something to play with but not get it up in the air and it fly away never to be seen again ( has happened 2x now). I also didn't want to spend $600 -$800 on something that I wasn't going to use professionally and all the time. The Potensic Dreamer Pro is a delight to fly. I am a beginner. I read the manual before even putting the battery in. This Dreamer Pro has a beginner mode that limits how far your drone can go so you don't see it fly away (yea!). I have turned it off and gone about 1/2 mile away at about 200ft in the air. This is perfect to see your neighborhood or anything you might want to explore. Specs say it can go up to 1 mile and more, but I am personally not there yet. Need some more practice. I have tested the features such as the return to home, the circle around you, and follow you features, they are all really cool. They do want they are supposed to do. I have not had a chance to do the map points yet, but will soon. Also, as my 16 year old son was flying it the battery power was getting low, he wanted to bring it in. I asked him to just keep it close and we tested that when the battery power got low, it returned home on its own. It wouldn't allow any remote interaction meaning he couldn't override the come come command because of low power. The camera is sharp and the 3axis gimble really makes the video while flying pretty darned cool. FYI. I have a 256GB memory card in mine and it works.. Not limited to 128GB. this drone is a winner for the beginner as well as the pro, especially at the $400 price point.

I have had this for a couple of years and never had any major issues with it. I have flown it many times. It is easy to use. But I just tried to take it on a flight and when it got about 6in off the ground it when back very aggressively toward me. It hit my foot as I was getting out of the way and then ran into my track can and flipped over and continuted to stay powered up. The camera gimbal broke, one of the legs broke and one of the blades broke. I am not happy. It is supposed to take off and hover at about 6ft until you give it input from the controller. It did not get anywhere near 6ft....6in off the ground and it went into attack mode. I don't expect the manufacture to do anything. If they do, great. I will change update my review. But in the next few days, I will be shopping other drones.

Took a chance on this drone after doing some research and watching youtube reviews. I would say this is a great product and I am very satisfied. I am new to drone flying and the price made this purchase a no brainer. Its construction is very nice, both durable and sleek in design. It comes with some nice accessories such as the hard case and all the parts necessary for flying (except for a mobile phone and the app). Its fairly easy to setup and control. My favorite features are the quality video picture created in combination with the 3-axis gimble, which allows for a steady, smooth video recording. The one issue that I have run into, is that sometimes the drone and my phone don't connect right away. It eventually does connect, but it has been a bit inconsistent, and I haven't found any troubleshooting info on this yet (I have not contacted the company directly...just have searched for any known issues on the internet). Otherwise, its a very cool product.

I must say I was impressed. I have owned several drones and have wasted more money than I would like to admit on inferior products. If you are looking for an excellent camera drone at a reasonable price, then this is it. If you are looking for a racing drone, pick something else. The picture and video quality is outstanding at any price point and the operation is easy to learn. The drone and remote are very well done, not cheap fragile materials like most others at this price. Regardless of price it is a well preforming drone that does what is advertised and a great value. Two things I don't like are only being able to access photos and videos from the SD card. I would prefer a preview option on the phone or app. And the remote needs some kind of neck strap so you don't have to hold it all the time. Compared to what is currently on the market, I highly recommend this drone and believe anyone with experience with drones would be very happy and impressed.

The drone is easy to learn, especially if you’re not a beginner. I wouldn’t recommend this drone for beginners BUT I would get it once you have already had at least one other drone, so in other words I would definitely get it once you leave the “beginner phase”. The remote control is probably my favorite part of the whole kit (obviously the drone too), with it being unique. Most controllers have the phone placement on either the top or bottom of the controller, but with this one you rest or embed the phone in the controller which is very clever of Potensic. The drone battery is pretty cool, with it being heavier than it looks and it has just under 30 minutes of flight time to ensure a satisfying flight and flying experience. Theres only one problem I have with this drone, and its not even the drone itself - it’s actually the carry case. I wish Potensic made it bigger so that the propellers can stay on the motors when transporting, but instead I have to constantly take the propellers off right before transportation and put them back on every time Im ready to fly. This can get annoying from time to time but it is what it is. Overall though, this drone and kit is definitely worth buying for the price and did not disappoint.

Out of the box this drone was quick and easy to get in the air. It has features that make it great for a beginner that may be nervous about flying a more expensive drone. It also has advanced features that allow amazing flight experiences. The app is user friendly and the camera provides good quality video and pictures. I have only had one issue after a couple years of owning it I started getting a battery pressure error and the drone wouldn't fly. Reached out to support and they promptly replied and had me try a few things which did end up resolving the issue and I am back flying again. Highly recommend!
